LeafOnATwig
Can you get legendary Pokemon and keep them? I read somewhere that you have to keep battling people and that you cant keep Zekrom neither. And that you also have to have a slot open in party or else it doesnt work. Does all this still apply or has the game updated? Link to comment
hannahtaylor
No, there are no legendary pokemon to keep. I'm also sure the last pokemon in your party is sent to the PC with Zekrom. Dibz 1 Link to comment

Short answer, no. 5 hours ago, LeafOnATwig said: I read somewhere that you have to keep battling people Mewtwo and rayquaza are in game as king-of-the-hill type events. There is a single instance in the world of each and only one player can hold it at a time. When they are 'free' they can be obtained as random encounters in their respective areas. Once you 'catch' them you are forced to fight other players in order to 'hold' the legendary. If you are defeated, or you don't battle anybody, the legendary will leave you. If somebody else has either legendary, you can battle them for the ownership. You can hold either as many times as you want. And just to clarify, you can't use these in PvE. 5 hours ago, LeafOnATwig said: you cant keep Zekrom neither. You can keep Zekrom for a brief period, then it gets turned into a 'doll' at your room in the Unova region. You can't catch it again thereafter. 5 hours ago, LeafOnATwig said: And that you also have to have a slot open in party or else it doesnt work. You don't need an empty slot, the last pokemon in your party is sent to your PC when either of the three legendaries mentioned is obtained. 5 hours ago, LeafOnATwig said: Does all this still apply or has the game updated? Afaik the legendary mechanics have not been updated since they were released. However, some of your information was not accurate. Link to comment
