Double battles EXP problem?

Hello!

 

So I just now noticed, Currently in Unova and been doing a lot of double battles, first was with some twins NPC and then on the tall dark grass. I noticed that I would only get EXP for the first pokemon I defeated and not from the second defeated. Is that a normal mechanic for PokeMMO or is it something else?

If the game knows that you are going to defeat 2 Pokemon in 1 turn, it will give you the joint XP into one message.

Instead of "x gained 500 xp points! x gained 500 xp points (again)", it'll just say "x gained 1000 xp points!"

P.S. sometimes it bugs out and battle logs only show the exp gained from one Pokemon instead of both (or all 5 in a horde), but don't worry if that happens, it's just a visual glitch, your Pokemon still gains the full exp yield from the battle.
