universal chat translator

Question

I would like them to add something that makes any language changed in the chat by the language that the player selected for his client so that all players from any country or language can speak fluently.

The amount of extra overhead on the server would be astronomical. Plus you have to add that online translation services aren't 100% accurate because there are different dialects spoken for languages and sometimes those dialects have dialects of their own. Language is a beautiful thing.

There's a good amount of reasons we won't be doing this, but the main ones are that translate API's aren't really free/usable at the volumes we would need and the privacy concerns on sending all chat to a third party.
