ROM problem

So I make a new character and set the starting region as hoenn but then this message appear "You do not currently have the required ROM for this map. Please add the required ROM to login." but I already have the ROM what should I do to fix this?

Are you 100% sure you have the Emerald rom?

Make sure you have the roms Black/White and Fire Red installed too, they're required for you to play ^^

Of course, I have downloaded it, it's in my download folder, and I'm currently looking at it right now.

Teddi, I'm sure only Black/White is the only necessary one? The others are optional

Well I've tried it still wouldn't work :/

Do I really need to download multiple ROM before it could work?

Nevermind, I manage to fix it by downloading both emerald and Fire Red ROM, sorry for the inconvenience ^^

It asks for it when you travel to another regions other than Unova, yeah

You need FireRed and Emerald to access Hoenn.

Yes, optional. Only Black/White is compulsory for the game to work

Hannah is correct, you -could- play without fire red and emerald but you wouldn't be able to access either of those regions, you would be stuck in Unova.

This is a clarification of the question. Yes, I am in fact aware of the B/W ROM requirement. However, Teddi stated Fire Red is required because you need both Fire Red and Emerald to access Hoenn. It's been that way for quite some time unless something has changed since I departed back in October.
