That previous joke aside, Akshit's given the best advice there is.
Every gym in the game provides its weakness close by.
Lt. Surge's weakness is Ground type, and Diglett's Cave is right there at Vermilion.
Celadon City's Erika uses Grass type Pokémon, and there's Growlithe/Vulpix directly to the East on Route 7.
Upon defeating Janine in Fuchsia, you're awarded the Soul Badge. This is easily done with Alolan Raichu.
