suigin
Give Gengar Focus Blast and drop Jolteon altogether for something better. Link to comment
Kentsuki
Jolteon was MVP for me for some reason, it outspeed most pokemons Link to comment
MHkaserz
Note: I'm only thinking within the given team and thinking about a way to make you kill Ferrothorn effectively. OLD Gyarados@ Leftovers Ability: Intimidate EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Dragon Dance - Stone Edge - Earthquake- WaterfallREPLACMENT Gyarados@ Leftovers Ability: IntimidateEVs: 90 HP / 28 Def / 236 SpAtk / 156 Spe (Play around with it if you must)Rash Nature - Dragon Dance - Flamethrower (2 HKO max SpDef Ferro after recovery) - You keep your boosted stats to continue sweeping- Earthquake- WaterfallCons: You sacrifice your coverage over Dragonite, Salamance and such. (Your 80% acc coverage move) You lose some hitting power and speed. (A boost would still make you faster than most non-scarfed mons, and hit very hard still) You lose some SpDef. (Don't think you were gonna survive an Electric move anyway) Spoiler The problem with the Gengar idea is: -Gyro Ball may 1HKO Gengar and Gengar's Blast can't 1HKO max SpDef Ferro. -Focus Blast's acc is shaky. (Works somewhat on Magnezone though, but Mag probably kills your Skarmory mainly) Edited December 26, 2018 by MHkaserz Kentsuki 1 Link to comment
kiwi
Man you have Skarmory with sr+spikes that can switch in Ferrothorn freely and start to spam hazzard. You also have Mienshao to scare it with HJK. Weak to ferro where? Link to comment
Kentsuki
Yeah theory is nice, practice not rlly Link to comment
Kamowanthere
HP Fire Magnezone is the best Ferrothorn check and trapper of the meta, 2HKO Ferrothorn when Ferro can't touch it and can't switch off unless it has Shed Shell item. PS If you dont see leftovers recovery on Ferrothorn, it is probably Shed Shell held item because of Magnezones Link to comment
