BANNER SOONTM

Thanks to @KaynineXL for letting me use some parts of his guide

ABOUT PICKUP

  • Pickup is Overworld ability that lets you pick certain items in wild.
  • When a Wild Pokemon faints, Your Pokemon(with Pickup) may pickup an item.
  • The Pokemon with Pickup ability should be in lead and not fainted.
  • The pickups vary from location to location in PokeMMO.
  • There are two types of loot from Pickup. You can pick up loot when killing Pokemon without any Pokemon with Pickupability , but these are often low value items - These are called trainer Pickups. The more expensive pick up loot is from pick up using a Pokemon.

Difference Between Pokemon Pickup and Trainer Pickup

  •    In the battle log, you'll that when its Pokemon pickup the text is shown as " <Pokemon Name/nickname> picked up a <item name>! , <Trainer name> Put the <item name> in the bag.
  •    For trainer pickup, you'll see "You found a <item name>"

Best Pickup Pokemon

  • Zigzagoon doesn't have any quirks like others but due to it being obtainable early game in hoenn, its can be used to grind a few extra cash between the gyms.It also works as a good HM slave
  • Ambipom is the strongest overall pick up Pokemon with the combined stats of 482. Ambipom has access to Switchroo which can help when you're farming items(such as in the power plant should you be looking for Metal coat/Magnet/Light ball).
  • Teddiursa has the strongest attack stat out of all the pick up Pokemon with 80 base stat and with access to moves like sweet scent, Hyper voice and earthquake,It can be used to sweep hordes and pickup at the same time.
  • Meowth is a popular pick up Pokemon as it is the only Pokemon that has access to Payday if you want to earn yourself some extra cash.

Sorry, maybe I was thinking of revival herb.

I haven't found a place where they drop very frequently but Twist mountain and Unova's Victory road drop with other valuable items too, or you can also try Mt.Moon.

Slight update -Some Kanto Spots Added
