Nature Pill

GottaFaintEmAll

Question

The idea would be that we could change the nature of a pokemon with a pill the same way an ability can be changed. It would give you one nature randomly, even the same nature would stay unchanged if you are unlucky. You can make the pill a little expensive, for example 200.000 each so that it wouldn't be spammed or create a gambling atmosphere. This way it won't affect much economy since the cost will be pretty much high, but it would give you a chance to change your unwanted nature to something that could be a little better or beneficial. The only thing that it might be affected is shiny breeding, but then again shiny pokemon are just overpriced shiny pixels, so it wouldn't really change the balance of the pvp, just give people more control over the nature. So, what do you think??

As I explained they would make this item pretty expensive in order to avoid abusing. Currently you need around 600-700k to make a comp 5x31 with correct nature,  if this item would cost for example the 1/3 of what then the price to make comps would only get more expensive. Some would make money and some would lose,  depending on how much RNGesus like you. Consider how many different natures exist (24) and divide to see that there is approximately a 4% chance to get the nature of your preference,  pretty low right??

How it reduces the pokemon sink if it is not a viable option for determining a pokemon's nature?? It will be just a very expensive way with random results, 4% for every 200.000 spent isn't motivational enough to invest in such item, this item would mostly focus on shiny breeders with the option to use it on any kind of pokemon but it wouldn't be essential, just an optional choice for those who like and can afford to risk.

If it weren't viable why would there be a need to implement it at all?

Concerning shiny breeding: This would make the shiny sink less effective and 200k is ridiculously low in relation to its worth in a shiny breeding project.

You may also consult one of the older threads with this suggestion to get further arguments against it.
