Obediance Level

What is the max obediance level after completing six gyms in kanto. After defeating Sabrina in the sixth gym I was told that i pokemon upto level 70 will obey me but its is actually only 50. How do you expectto defeat gym leaders with such pokemon. All my good pokemon are already level 48 so how should i play or is there a glitch which has lowered my obediance levels

They're scaled with the next gym leaders ace in mind

I think the issue here is inconsistency between what Gym leaders are saying and what is the truth

• The level cap for Hoenn's Badge 7 has been increased from 48 to 50
• The level cap for Unova's Badge 7 has been increased from 46 to 48
• The level cap for Kanto's Gym 7 has been increased from 52 to 54

 

Also the gym leader text is based on original games.That text needs to be updated.Thats why Sabrina said level is 70 because that was based on original games text.
