Some newbie question about farming/breeding

I saw that in overused pokemon there are Gliscor, Larvesta and Scizor, which first evolutions are in same egg group of Paras.

 

Paras is a good pokemon to farm because of the mushrooms he hold. 

Can i do something with non 31 iv paras i catch? 

 

Also, how can i start from paras to finish into scyter? I need a 4x31 female scyter and a 4x31 paras do to a 5x31 scyter?

Yeah, You can go from 1x to 5x using paras. Just make sure you scyther is aways female.

31 only makes sense if you invest in that stat, otherwise 30 does it, so you can probably breed with 30def / spdef ones and sell the 31s you dont need. also people breed with 27+ so a combination of those in hp + def stat or both def stats can sell for cheap on gtl. wont make you rich over night, but adds up.

as long as they're both same egg group, its possible to do till you hit the goal what you want.

One thing you must take in your mind is that your Scyther must be female or you need female Ditto.
