Progression path.

I was just curious if once you completed the story on one island, if you were able to move on to one of the other islands and complete it's story with the same character and pokemon? I am new to PokeMMO.

You can do everything with one character.

You can travel to other regions once you have 4 badges in your current region. You may not be able to use all of your Pokémon though, as you will have a different level cap in your new region.
