NOR FIR WAT ELE GRA ICE FIG POI GRO 2 2 ¼ 2 ¼ 0 Looking at it stats you can see it isn't that impressive but its base stats aren't what make no matter what type of butterfree you choice to make - it needs have ability "Compound eyes" Butterfree - try understand butterfree can sweep not what you use it for. when it goes into battle it will most likely status 1-2 other players Pokemon causing chaos with by sleep powder or stun spore regradless of its bad stats it is a quiver dance Pokemon. ya sure its no OU Pokemon. but it isn't a PU Pokemon but it can bloody well fit in NU/UU haven't really seen any NU action so assumably BL or UU Lets Start Basic Build - Quiver Dance - This always be apart of your Butterfree set using one of these should be enough. for you too damage or too weaken who ever your facing - Sleep Powder/Stun Spore - I Strongly recommend using Sleep Powder over Stun Spore - Ya Sure Paralyzes overs 50% speed reduction I think don't quote me on this and chance to stun each time they move by 30% where sleep powder can last a max of 5 turns most each turn target is sleep more chance that it will wake up. reason why sleep powder is superior is because gives you a chance to set up, having 284 speed max isn't as bad as you think just have be careful whom butterfree is brought in If your gonna use stun spore then might as well use swagger with it be total cancer. make other player hates their life choices.most importantly hate fighting you. cause watch them rage and quit as watch whole team slow destroy themselves. why sit their and laugh at their misfortune. while listening to troll song . having time of your life as other suffer <3 you never gonna give you up. never gonna let you down.. you know Offensive Moves - Slot (3) Top 5 Moves - 5. Dream Eater - Dream Eater - Deals shit tons of damage "If target is sleep" this is very risky move. cause if target is sleep high chance that they will switch. don't know if mmo has a sleep cause. this ability however does have sick sustain if you manage to pull it off highly unlikely that you will in competitive play 4. Shadow Ball or Psychic - either one doesn't really matter they hit very hard. shadow ball ghost coverage Psychic fighting coverage 3. Hidden Power (Pick your Poison) 2. Giga Drain/Energy Ball (giga drain offers sustain not alot of damage energy ball oh does some damage specially too those rock types 1. Bug Buzz - Stab Hits like a Drunk - no psychic or dark type whats take one of these Slot (4) Air Slash - shouldn't have to explain why air slash is fourth move it high power it can flinch use it on turn they so post to wake up they flinch and means set up another sleep attacking another quiver Air Slash is better then bug buzz cause ability in game called soundproof makes bug buzz do nothing, at least with air slash it still deals damage I have two builds for you too look at gonna show you why butterfree can be cancer.. Stop Hitting Yourself@ Focus Sash Ability: Compound Eyes EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Modest Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Swagger (this is why swagger got nerfed)) - Stun Spore - Air Slash - Quiver dance/Substitute Swaggy Mcnoshag @ Focus Sash Ability: Compound Eyes EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk Quiver Dance Sleep Powder Whatever offensive move you like "meh" Air Slash Bug Types is my type when comes to judging how usage and how powerful a bug type can be in competitive or just in general then you come to right person. their is a-lot things consider when judging a bug type I for one can say when comes Pokemon and bug typing can't judge a bug type by it stats alone their are a-lot things to consider. this is typing that need pay attention to its move-pool more so then it stats cause when comes "Total Pokemon Stat Percentages" their is a lot of bug type Pokemon with bad stats or stats just meh at best. this is not saying that their isn't any bug types with great stats cause that is untrue just majority of them do. but make up for it great move pools. and may surprise you if give them a shot. i used to think butterfree sucks about 4-5 years ago when this thing with very low stat total was shown that "It" could stand up top tier Pokemon. note the world "It could" most other guides about this Pokemon will tell you do not understatement it. if let this Pokemon set up too much it will eat your team for breakfast same can be said for any Pokemon only difference is this Pokemon can prevent itself from taken damage Note word: If you let it set up. however 1 quiver dance is all you need start out speeding most threats. unless your hit by priority you get first turn sleep powder. their are ways counter it however. - Cons Weak Defense stats - physical attacks will most likely one shot it Grass Types : Immune to your spores/powders (though i wouldnt want take bug buzz from butterfree if i was a grass type)) Soundproof - Bug Buzz is shut down by this ability X4 Weakness too rock - even thou its not too much worry about cause high miss chances rock moves bring but if you do get hit by one your dead Requires set up first turn Highly Predictable How to Counter Butterfree Switch into a Grass Type that lost its weakness to flying or Bug that way i cant sleep you Priority Ice Moves Like Ice shard will reck its day Edited February 16, 2018 by sakuramyu Goldeneyes and amanisnoone 1 1 Link to comment

sakuramyu
Your In Unova? you wanna use a Pokemon seriously dope! no not talking about that flaming abomination of a moth watch i love mind you. this pokemon seriously underrate do not understate how strong one of these are in battle. sure its speed is total garbage. nothing a trickroom support won't fix. this think really underrated it should be OU simply by the stats/defensives and its move pool. only problem doesn't have any weakness coverage 70 250 344 Attack 135 247 405 Defense 105 193 339 Sp.
