Baton Pass - why I feel it should be unbanned

I think this should be looked into. cause baton passer isn't really overpowered. note not saying that abilities used with baton pass should be banned but what moves should be allowed to be passed in competitive play. for me to calling something overpowered means that it has no counterplay. and to say banned baton pass - is statement watch means their is no counterplay or shut down to this. as someone whos plays pokemon I know for fact this is wrong

 

 

Moves should never be allowed to be baton passed -

Calm Mind

Dragon Dance

Quiver Dance 

Stockpile

Minimize

Moves - that are acceptable for baton pass-

Agility

Iron Defense

Swords Dance

 

Reason behind this is cause difference between abilities on the top and bottom is tops increase more then 1 stat and botton only creases single stat.

 

 

Thiers a-lot ways counter baton passer. and if your competitive player you could use numberious of moves or pokemon shut them down before they can even set up calling something overpowered cause lack the knowledge pokemon to beat it .  just because lost few fights cause baton pass doesn't completely broken.

 

Encore/Taunt/Thunder-wave/Spore/Sleep Powder/Stun Spore/attract

 

Serene grace - flitch - shut them down

 

Butterfree is good pokemon shut down not many can resist its sleep

In terms of Baton Pass being banned, it is up to the tier council on whether or not it should be reinstated. However, Baton Pass has been brought up multiple times in the past and was shot down each time. It is unlikely that it will be brought back.
