I mean, LC is way more interesting than those other tiers, I bet the community would queue for LC more often than these 2 (my opinion=/=fact)

LC player are not yet ready.. I mean, there are some player like me or @YettoDie who are ready. But for the moment,  we can't make a 64 TM full players, so I don't think that MM LC will work already. Maybe later

Implying I'll be ever fully ready ;), the only time to be ready if the full PC consists of LC mons :D.

I lost in today's LC tournament due to a bug.

Round 2 : Pitzzin VS Kriliin

Turn 24 : I knocked off a midlife Gastly and his berry juice activated...

This is a bug, like with the move Bug Bite, the berry shouldn't activate before the effect.

Fix it please... @Munya

on top of this, there is a bug where if you knock off the item of drifloon, unburden will not activate

I wanted to get to play LC, so I started making some comps and I spectated a shit ton of battles so I can get the hang of meta. I would like to summarize my observations:

"Wow, Murkrow's strong, gonna put it on my priority list"

"Damn shit can sweep entire teams whoa I need it right now"

"Wait what this thing is so broken what is it even doing in LC"

"Nvm I don't wanna play another meta with a completely broken mon in it"

Can we discuss Murk or even quickban it under offensive uber characteristics? Shit's broken. Great mixed stats, really good speed, high power STAB Priority, wide movepool... like what the hell is it even doing in LC

he gone, but what about misdreavus?

What counter to misdreavus is there? Porygon? But Porygon can still lose to CM/hp fight misdreavus can't he?

So when are we talking about scraggy?

I feel like misdreavus is quite problematic too.. the only reason why it doest feel like it is because scraggy checks and sets up on it, if scraggy was gone however.. misdre would go rampant in the tier right after him

Scraggy doesn't really counter Misdreavus. Only checks it. As centralizing as Misdreavus can be, at least it has reliable counters like Porygon, Munchlax and Lileep and several mons that can rk it since it can't boost its speed. Scraggy only has Vullaby as a counter and Timburr as a pseudo counter/check. It's definitely broken imo.

edit: even defensive ponyta can counter Misdreavus

236+ Atk Munchlax Fire Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Misdreavus: 6-8 (27.2 - 36.3%) -- 11.7% chance to 3HKO

vs berry juice munchlax:

+1 240 SpA Misdreavus Hidden Power Fighting vs. 0 HP / 236 SpD Munchlax: 16-20 (53.3 - 66.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (munchlax dies even before berry juice activates lmfao)

Also, fire punch does less than pursuit in every case so dont even bother with that either.

reliable counters

Do I even need to remind you the definition of counter?  "Pokémon A counters Pokémon B if Pokémon A can manually switch into Pokémon B and still win every time, even under the worst case scenario, without factoring in hax."

NONE of those pokemon can switch in on calm mind even ONCE. (ultra reliable counters xddd) they all get beat 1 on 1.

Also all those calcs are from a SINGLE misdre set.. it's not like other pokemon where they have one set that beats a counter and other sets that beat other counters but you cant run them all at once.. misdre can. (and you still have a free moveslot for either tbolt, sub or even fucking memento)

I'll give to you just a bit of credit tho, in the sense that there are certain mindgames in some scenarios like guessing wether pory will go for sball or twave but ifs pretty much a 50/50 where misdre still wins 100% of the time (you might come out para'd but you can fix that with a healbell user like chinchou)

EDIT: mb, I calc'd 70 BP hp instead of 60, am bad. but if you add rocks to the equation the result is the exact same, plus, pory only has a 12% to 0hko so you CAN go to +2 vs it, make that 12% a 0% and proceed to beat it anyways, same with munchlax (at +2 you guarantee 2hko it while it still only 3hkos you). And lileep is a joke lmao

vs porygon
just play foul play like I already mentionned in the thread

vs lileep

just play bullet seed with a little bit of atk investment

vs munchlax

between pursuit, seed bomb, stockpile, toxic and recycle, I am sure you can figure out a set that beats misdreavus reliably

vs ponyta
morning sun and flame charge with any other filler moves are enough to beat misdreavus

edit: i'll let you do the calcs yourself, but in the future i recommend not using spatk moves to beat a pokemon that use calm mind.

0 Atk Lileep Bullet Seed (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Misdreavus: 9-12 (40.9 - 54.5%) -- approx. 0.4% chance to 2HKO

also remember that evert extra stat point in attack cost you hp which is crucial for lileep. with 40 ivs that 0.4% turns into an amazing 17%. Also idk if id call 120 evs "a little bit of atk investment"

seed bomb and pursuit are the same base power on a staying misdre so idk why would you even mention it unless maths be too hard. and you can stock pile/tox all you want but that doesnt mean misdres got the edge as you switch in on a calm mind and misdre can always avoid procing berry juice by doing 36% with a single boost or 2hkoing with 2 so no, you cant build a munchlax set that switches in on calm mind and beat it.

+1 160 SpA Misdreavus Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 76 SpD Eviolite Ponyta: 10-13 (47.6 - 61.9%) -- 93.8% chance to 2HKO

??????

also flame charge into flare blitz isnt enough to 0hko 90% of the time. of course you can flare blitz 2x and hope to win the speed tie but then thats an amazing 50% success strat. very smart indeed.

Very reliable counters huh?

lmao none of the mons/sets that youve mentioned are capable of switching on calm mind and beating misdre.

FOUL PLAY IS STILL A 3HKO

BULLET SEED LILEEP WONT WORK UNLESS SOMEHOW YOU GET SKILL LINK ON IT

PONYTA NEEDS TO WIN A SPEED TIE

MUNCHLAX WONT BEAT IN ANY SCENARIO

GIT GUT

unlike you, I've actually provided calcs to support my argument, all ive seen you do is throw random gibberish saying they are "relible counters" when in practice they all lose to misdreavus 1 on 1

Apparently, this is too difficult for you, so I'll do all the work for you:

Munchlax

Spoiler

+6 252 SpA Misdreavus Hidden Power Fighting vs. +6 0 HP / 236+ SpD Munchlax: 10-12 (33.3 - 40%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
If you pressure the Misdreavus correctly, you should always be able to ensure the berry juice gets activated.

Porygon

Spoiler

+1 252 SpA Misdreavus Hidden Power Fighting vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Porygon: 10-12 (38.4 - 46.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

0- Atk Porygon Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Misdreavus: 8-10 (36.3 - 45.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
Porygon has recover, so there is no possible scenario where porygon doesn't win.

Lileep

Spoiler

Against Bold Misdreavus
108 Atk Lileep Bullet Seed (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Misdreavus: 9-12 (36 - 48%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+1 0 SpA Misdreavus Hidden Power Fighting vs. 252 HP / 176+ SpD Eviolite Lileep: 8-10 (30.7 - 38.4%) -- 17.6% chance to 3HKO

Lileep has recover, so win.

Against Timid Misdreavus

+1 252 SpA Misdreavus Hidden Power Fighting vs. 252 HP / 176+ SpD Eviolite Lileep: 10-12 (38.4 - 46.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

108 Atk Lileep Bullet Seed (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0+ Def Eviolite Misdreavus: 9-12 (40.9 - 54.5%) -- approx. 0.4% chance to 2HKO

Looks also like a win to me.

Ponyta

Spoiler

+1 252 SpA Misdreavus Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Ponyta: 9-12 (37.5 - 50%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO
gg with morning sun and flame charge

They all win 1v1. I would have to test lax a little bit more to be sure, but I'm confident it can handle it. Same with Lileep against wow hex misdreavus, but there should still be a way. The generic Misdreavus sets are very easy to handle if you are prepared for it though.
