And why some skills says not effictive, even they are? if your talking damage wise the super effective indicator isn't of much use beside to tell you that the power of that move will be twice the usual there is much more knowledge to the damage a move can do than just type effectivness Link to comment

And why some skills says not effictive, even they are? Moves that deal set damage (Seismic Toss, Endeavor, etc) never deal super or not very effective damage. Currently this isn't reflected in the effectiveness indicators (which is only based on the type of the move), but this will likely be fixed in the future. Pokemon abilities such as Levitate aren't taken into account by the effectiveness indicators, which is intentional as it would give players information on the opposing Pokemon that they shouldn't have access to. If you're battling a Bronzong and you have a ground type move, you'd know instantly if it had Levitate or Heatproof for example, which isn't healthy for PvP (and PvE to a slightly lesser extent).
