Kanto to Unova !HELP!

I was discovering the world of Unova and I embarked on a boat that took me to Kanto (to a room) but I don't know how to return from where I come from. I would like to continue my adventure.

If you've not done the Kanto region yet, I believe you can speak to your mother who is in the first town you start at(not 100%). You can also travel back at the Vermillion docks.

You can do this only if you have not obtained your starter in Kanto to my knowledge. After you have received your starter you will have to obtain 4 badges and visit the docks in Vermillion City.

You need to obtain the starter then talk to your mom. If you continue the storyline too far past that, then you’ll have to continue to the 4th badge.
