Sup Haven't played in a few years and hopped back on with a friend. I don't remember if this was a thing before or not but did npc trainers play musical pokemon before, at least anywhere as bad as now? Took on the Kanto Elite Four and every time I would bring out a pokemon they would spend the next 5-10 turns just switching back and forth.

Currently there is an issue with one of the AIs switch checks, which is causing it to switch into things that might not be quite so favourable.

Because of this, the switch out check then corrects this error, and you end up with a scenario where it continues to switch because there are effectively 2 checks trying to work against each other.

 

We hope to fix this soon.
