PvP tournaments are horribly designed.

Here's the strat:

 

1. Stall as long as possible for your first match.
2. If you win, stall as long as possible again as you watch your opponents previous match.
3. Use the 9 minutes that you stalled with to build a team to fully counter your opponents team.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3.

 

Granted your opponent could always change their team, but it's just stupid how broken that is at this point.

 

I don't even do PvP tournaments, just spectated and it's clear as day what's going on with a few different players. Shouldn't be that easy to spot a horribly designed flaw.

Edit: Someone who does PvP tournaments can make a suggestion thread with correct fixes, since I don't know them. I'm sure the logical changes will be implemented Soon^TM never.

An easy fix would be to lock in a team for the tournament, so changing the team is impossible between matches and spectating can still be used to pass the time and learn a little. I'm not sure how hard this would be to implement, or if there are any loopholes so I'll leave it at that.

But ppl use friends to scout anyway, no need to stall for that. Stalling is/was pretty good, that's why ppl did it
