just wondering as leech life and some moves had their power boosted/reduced,so why isnt it the case with knock off ? i dont really see any cons of boosting it,on the contrary i think it adds an dark stab for pokes who hasnt access to crunch since foul play is banned

Because it becomes a super strong move that even pokemon that served no purpose running it, ran it. Without Megastones and z-crystals it just becomes even stronger, so no you'll just have to wait for Foul Play to be fixed :3

just a food for thought would knock off be op if it didnt do 1.5x damage and just base 65

we considered that when we were talking about knock off but didn't want to add it in a way that never existed in the games before.

that would make pokes like bisharp and weavile ubers , stab knock off op

Not sure about Ubers but they'd be a huge pain.

In the end Night Slash isn't a completely awful move for them and if you want the utility Knock Off provides you can still get that utility. You just won't get both the damage and the insane utility.

meh not really helpfull on bisharp, so probably pursuit will replace knock off? and  bisharp set will be: iron head, pursuit, sword dance, sucker punch?
