The world championship is a completely different format where doing Baton Pass chains is way harder. Also just because it's official it doesn't mean it's good. gbwead 1 Link to comment

Baton pass is fundamentally different from u-turn and volt switch, so that is why one is banned and not the other. If anyone wants to discuss the idea of banning u-turn/volt switch, or unbanning baton pass, bring it up in this thread: Link to comment
