You mean comps with new abilities? I think most moves works just fine(might be wrong) Grinding is the only option when things are unstable, because you will have cash when things get to the right state. or do you have something else on mind with grinding? It goes beyond the new abilities and moves. Weather is bugged from what I can see (slowest pokemon doesn't necessarily set up weather last, it seems random).
