Doubt about future hidden abilities

  Is it advisable to breed pokemon?, I have this doubt because of the hidden abilities, I mean, will we have to re-breed pokemon if hidden abilities got implemented later in the game?

I bred this bulbasaur and feel like I wasted my time, because I will have to re-breed to put it chlorophyll.

Yeah apparently that's the angle they are going towards

It isn't a waste of time at all, its just less breeding you have to do when the time comes that Hidden Abilities are released.

Hidden abilities will be introduced gradually so you wont need to rebreed everything at once like we had to do when split happens. It will be certain amount of pokes per dungeon and they wont be taken from 1 usage tier, so dont worry that you will to rebreed entrie team to stay relevant in the ladder.

As far as I am aware, the ability pill will not allow you to get a hidden ability.
