Hey, anyone can tell me about the new lvl lock and how it goes after every gym?

AFAIK the exp you gain while you hit level lock is stored and as soon as you obtain the required badge your pokemon levels up.

After you beat the Elite Four you can, yes.

yeah don't put them in the daycare and don't use them outside the region you don't want them to be overleveled for if you don't do any of those they won't go pass the lvl cap

I meant is there a option to prevent the pokemon from gaining exp at all like a long time ago

Why would you want to do that? Your pokemons can't overlevel past obedience limit of that region

^ the exp just get stored until your cap raise then it will lvl up on the next fight after the cap is raised so theorically you could get a pokemon to go from lvl 20 to 100 skipping all the other lvl

i don't think there was ever such a thing but we do have the amnesia brace that allow you to ev train a pokemon without it ever gaining exp while it holds it
