It would be interesting to implement a "rust" style raiding system based on our secret bases somewhere far down the line. Imagine limiting our in-game bag to only a few held items and forcing players to store the rest of their items in a chest or something in their secret base. This base can then be fortified by purchasing in-game building materials, but can also be looted by other players using purchaseable in-game demolition items. It should be scaled appropriately so it just doesn't turn into a free way to steal items. Also, any players caught trying to raid a secret base should be forced to duel the owner of the base, or a friend, and if they lose they have to relinquish some or all of their held items. 

 

Would be freaking dope. 

 

This is definitely "mmo-esque"

@Darkshade I think we should add the 10k trade limit.

 

For those that aren't familiar with this: The Trade limit is a mechanism in the trade system that prevents players from making trades considered to be too "unbalanced", that is, where one of the two players involved in the trade gave much more than they received according to the pokemons/items value(pokemon/items will have predetermined prices). The trading limit for players is restricted up to 10,000 yen(or item/pokemon value) every 15 minutes.

 

We could stop real world trading and diminish hacking of accounts due to not being about to trade anything.

This is a terrible idea, it's why runescape died.  They thought it would be a good idea to limit trade in an open world pvp game... Then they brought it back because people quit left and right.
