Should ban BP imo. Shit's too strong because there's no counterplay since the only way to beat it is by being extremely lucky through RNG or matchup.

It's not very interesting to watch imo. Either the opponent have perfect counters for a bp team and it's probably over, or the opponent have none and it's also probably over but on the other side.

And yeah it will also be about crits to break the chain or not.

It's not interesting but variations of BP exist which can be a bit more interesting. Like my friend once used a mean look BP Umbreon, BP Venomoth etc. Those are fine but the Gliscor version is completely broken since there are better variants (of the one Raai used) that exist with lead azelf or uxie which have access to both screens and explosion / memento respectively. Unless you lead a scarfer, you're fucked because nothing stops that BP train. Let's not forget about how BP just shits on stall. Watch the god Osgoode utilize them to perfection:

Because of how BP is broken (in almost every gen), a lot of unofficial tournaments have this clause where you can only pass one stat boost through BP. Just do that here or otherwise nothing stops a player from running BP because it is so damn good. Also shout out to MMO TC for being > Smogon TC because the latter haven't banned BP in gen4 and unbanned evasion abilities on pokemon which have mono ability.

I won

edit: love all the ppl claiming "cheap team" Yes BP team may seem cheap if u dont know what ur talking about, but1 missplay, 1 crit and its all over. Cuz once one link in ur chain disappears its gg. You cant win no matter what. So cry me a river, the reason no1 else run BP isnt cuz they're "above it", its cuz they know its a very high risk high reward tactic, and they dont have the cojones to pull it off

welcome to the club ^^

@OldKeith

Saw you in the comments. It was @JSTUD vs @Kiliminati, where JSTUD knew exactly what team Kili would run, but before the match he practiced with ThinkNice and decided not to run the counter team just in case he didn't bring the Baton Pass Espy team. Unfortunately, it was and I lost roughly 4M at a time where money was even harder to come by. SMH.

At the time, the Baton Pass Espeon team was like the one broken aspect of Gen 5 and Kili showed up out of nowhere with an insane amount of confidence (having not played anything anywhere ever) and everyone was betting on him. JSTUD was just like, well he's gonna run that broken crap.
