Daily Log-in Rewards

This is just an idea that i'm throwing out there, i think if we had daily log-in rewards, it would really encourage people to log-in to the game more often you know? It could also help with players with little time to grind for the items they need, like say you can't pick-up a silk scarf no matter how much you grind? Don't want to pay for it on GTL? well log in on this day and we will give you one for free sort of thing.

  • Rewards could be Untradeable to prevent people with multiple accounts from mailing more items to themselves

 

  • Rewards can correlate to consecutive login-ins for the week or a reward a certain day in each month. Like each date in the month (or every other date) you get a different reward, but you have to log-in a number of 6 times to get the reward for the 6th day of that month which could be like 10x Great balls.if you miss a day of logging in, you wont be able to get the reward for the last day of the month, because after that you can only login a total of 29 days (or 30) for that month.  

 

  • Rewards could be anything and can be more rare the more you log in like 3x everstones on the 25th day of the month and 1000 RP if you log-in every single day in that month.

 

Lemme know what you guys think and if you see anything that could be tweaked with this idea. I think this could be a nice way to get players logging on more often, even if it is for a couple of minutes.

Even if this aspect would still be untradeable, I  see it being a bad idea. Half of the incentive behind making donations to the devs is so that you get RP privileges, and I think handing it out for free in such large quantities for simply logging in once a day for a month would tarnish that. 

 

Other than that, I quite like the idea of small untradeable daily login bonuses.

The RP was just a way to show what a rare Reward could be, I don't actually expect this to become a reward because of like you said, this is an incentive behind making donations.  I think you get the idea though that the more you log in the more rare the reward can be, doesn't have to RP can be stuff like BP or everstones

minor rewards would be a cool idea.

Starts being a bad idea when you ask to much for rare rewards.

 

Minor rewards, imo, may be :

- 1000$

- 10 great ball

- 3 ultraball or scuba ball or ...

- 10 seeds (plain ...)

- 1 vanity item that may also be found in pokemarts (there are many of them)

- 1 Lava cookie

- 10 repel

- 10 antidote or ... or ... (pokemart)

 

Are rarest ones (must be "not that huge" but still better than minor ones) :

- 2 protein or iron or ...

- 1 rare candy

- 10 000$

- 10 max repel

- 10 max potion or ... or ... (pokemart)

- 10 seeds (very ...)

Also I totally disagree having everstone/blackbelt/... (mostly held item) as rewards, because imo, these items are already generated a lot.

Yeah, make those rewards untradeable and solve the alts prolem.

 

Minun stuff as Raederz said and some random average ones like vitamins/rare candy stuff.

 

And one 100% chance for an average/good one every week complete (like a TM, some shards, or idk a BP/cassino box everyweek? Doenst see like a 65/100k item bonus every week would ruin the economy.)

To me vitamins/rare candy/(see list above) are not "average" but "good", we must keep in mind it's just about logging in^^

Shouldnt be random but maybe weekly.

And casino boxes .. Way too much

Yeah, those "good ones" would happen only once a week (like each 7 days of login in a row). Otherwise it would be too much OP xD

You're not everybody. It's just the truth to say that many players that want to "only log in, claim reward and log out" finally dont just "log in claim reward and log out".

Here it sounds a bit like manipulation, but it's mainly truth. It will never be everybody. It will always be a certain part of the players.

Imo i don't think it would be too much if the log-in reward was a certain date of the month thing because like i said you'd have to log-in every 29, or 20 or 31 days in that month to get something really good like 1 or 2 everstones. The fact that people may forget to or sometimes not be able to makes it really commendable if they pull it off, so why not give them an 1 or 2 everstones for there effort?

Generally, I believe if the main goal is to get PokéMMO busier again, the upcoming Updates/new content will create more lasting activity.
I do like the idea to (sort of) thank/reward all the faithful players though.

The reward could be simply be (untradeable) seeds - one of the things Raederz suggested - with possibly better or more seeds the longer you logged in successively.
The economic impact could be insignificant (maybe one tool for 250$ you didn't need to buy per day) while the gesture of appreciation is there.
It would also direct players towards berry farming which itself is sort of a daily Login reward system already in place and might therefor benefit the same sort of players (who have only time to login for a short amount of time each day).

We honestly already have dailies that can be abused somewhat. While using all 3 daycare slots and a EXP share in my party, 1 trip of island run can net me about 380k a day on Island running alone that is not including Hoenn gym rematches or E4. Daisy is another amazing daily log in bonus essentially. Once a day she can pretty much evolve a Pokemon for happiness for free which sells for a decent bit as breeders on the GLT (Togepi and Espeon to be exact). 

I always hated the idea of daily log in bonus for free despite how minor they are because that really does is make it alt abused; especially for veteran players who have like 10+ characters spread across multiple accounts. Us veterans have a ton of extra accounts from the dark ages...Daily log in bonus doesn't keep the player base alive because all it simply does it make you log in for 2 minutes and log out to never be heard of again.

Dailies should be something proactive; not passive. Daisy is a perfect example of having to be proactive at the game yet be pretty passive. Basically she saids "Here, have 50k for free every 2 days. If you dare play it's 50k every day".
