Egg moves

I've been playing Showdown before this so I don't know much about breeding yet. The guides here have helped a lot but here's one thing that I still do not know of since I didn't study them in detail (too many numbers).

 

If I want my Dusclops to obtain Memento as a breeding move, should I breed it with a Pokemon that has already learned the move? For example breeding Dusclops with Wheezing.

Yeah, gotta breed with a Pokemon from the same egg group that has the move learned in one of the 4 moveslots

The handy breeding result screen will let you know if the move is being passed or not now, super useful.  Just make sure you don't submit the pokemon before you see that the move will be on its moves list.
