Custom Chat Filter.

The game Black Desert Online has one of the BEST features I have ever seen in a video game.

 

People trying to sell gold? guilds spamming recruit messages? people you dont like typing?

 

Simply click on the chat filter under the menu, type a word or word(s) you would like to filter, and TA-DA! any player message containing the word or word(s) will not be displayed to you.

 

You can block people that type in korean, etc.  or the lenny faces :) OR recruit messages whatever you want.

You can block certain languages by turning off those languages in your chat settings. We already have some form of automated removal for players who are trading outside of trade chat and are actively working to deal with those who evade the filters. If a player is bothering you with their messages, you are free to block them as well.

 

Outside of that, please bring up any suspected rule violations using the in game support petitions and we will evaluate the situation and take appropriate action.
