So Sund & Moon are out (more or less)

and that brings up the question: Should Gen7 mechanics be implemtend in MMO at some point?

There are some notable changes e.g. Flygon learns DD now or burns only do 6.25% damage instead of the usual 12.5% and many more.

Darktype immune to Prankster status move

Paralysis status condition only halves the speed stat instead of -75%.

Also Thunderwave has 90% accucary now.

 

Burndamage down to 6.25%.

 

Confused pokemon are less likely to hit themselves (33% instead of 50%).

Also Swagger was nerfed slighty with its accucarry brought down from 90% to 85%.

 

Leech Life got a major buff in base power moving from 20 to 80 while having slightly less PP (10 instead of 15).

 

Destiny Bond can fail if used successively (like protect)

Confusion is now a 33% chance of hitting yourself.  Thunder wave now has 90% accuracy.

Seeing how kingdra, who has a better bulk in exchange for a bit of firepower, and just a straight out great typing with only 1 weakness, that, is almost non-existent on the special side, has access to dd and isn't that hard to handle, dd flygon wouldn't be anything too different. Maybe it'd be a bit better, but nothing too scary

 

E: oh yeah right, flygon has a better move

Most notably, Torkoal gets Drought and Pelipper gets Drizzle

Dodrio gets Jump Kick too, along with sdance

Besides grassy/elec/misty terrain, psychic terrain was added too

Basically enemy can't use priority, psychic type moves are boosted by 50% and nature power becomes psychic (the move).
