My team: Metagross: Lonely/ clear body/ 252 Attack- 122 Special Attack - 136 speed - Meteor mash - Earthquake - Psychic - Ice punch Gardevoir: Modest/ trace/ 252 special attack - 202 speed - 56 hp - Thunderbolt - Psychic - Hidden power ice - Shadow ball Breloom: Adamant/ effect spore/ 52 HP - 252 attack - 204 speed - Spore - bullet seed - brick break - focus punch Vaporeon: bold/ water absorb/ 252 hp - 228 defense - 30 special attack - surf - ice beam - hidden power electric - heal bell Heracross: jolly/ swarm/ 252 attack - 252 speed - 6 special defense - Endure - megahorn - reversal - swords dance Typhlosion: modest/ blaze / 252 special attack - 252 speed - Flamethrower - Eruption - Extrasensory - Quick attack Link to comment
CCMayhem Posted October 26, 2016 Share Posted October 26, 2016 (edited) Not really an expert on OU or OU mon's , but where your walls at? pretty standard to run at least 2 defensive Mons all i really see is vapeoron and he has more a bruiser move set rather then support, unless your running like a weather team maybe that is hyper offense. Should throw maybe SolarBeam+ SunnyD instead of extrasensory and QA on your Typhlosion as well has its uses when your not using it as a banded eruption sweeper. I feel your team would benefit hugely from a defensive pivot like chansey or umbreon, vaporean doesn't really have a huge defense stat either i feel like that is a wasted slot, water absorb is nice but i don't see a huge weakness to water in your team @ a first glance. Might be better off with something else, or rethinking your build, @ a Base 130 HP and 110SpD w/ access to a bunch of decent support moves probably better off using him as a SpD wall instead of defense. Maybe throw in some obligatory levitate/ ground immunity too, drop breloom get a Flygon maybe or Gyrados, something similar for predicting EQ for a free switch-in, also if your going to keep him w/ fpunch you might want to find room for sub drop BB maybe. Personally i dislike spreading ev's around like that too, unless i am doing a mixed wall or mixed attacker Take whatever i said w/ a grain of salt though, i am a noob. One thing I noticed is you lack walls. Teambuilds can go with the following: Support (Wish, Cleric), Tank/Wall, Physical Sweeper and Special Sweeper. Vapereon Bold idk what the set would be for this but -Toxic/Wish -Protect -Surf -Hidden Power Electric I suggest having a proper defensive tank such as Slowbro, Forrestress etc. Also you need to wall of special attackers of doing their job so like Chansey (Cancer xd), Gardevoir etc. (252 Def and Hp) Chansey Bold Leftovers Sei Toss Softboiled/Wish Protect Toxic/Thunderwave/Aroma (252 Hp and Spdef) Gardevoir Calm Leftovers WoW Psychic Protect Wish Dont really play ou anymore so Ed: Metagross usually carry thunder punch for gyara (Some Hp, atk and Speed) Adamant Lifeorb/ Leftovers -Agility -Meteor Mash -Earthquake -Thunderpunch Choice Band (Believe the evs for this is full HP And Attack) -Meteor Mash -Earthquake -Thunderpunch -Pursuit (Mixed Attk with hp and Speed?) Also some hp evs probably 252. -Breloom ev spread is fine tho I like max speed, you should change the move set to spore bullet seed substitute focus punch. There are other move sets too like Swords Dance, Superpower, Bullet Seed, Mach Punch/return/double edge which are viable as well. -You should get wish and protect on vaporeon over heal bell and ice beam, I feel like thats the better set, or you could go wish without protect and include heal bell/toxic. -Heracross is fine. -Should remove Quick Attack on typhlosion for maybe a hidden pwoer grass/ice/elec, maybe you dont know how to breed that but im sure anyone can help you out with that and there are quite some guides on the forums too.
