Do the level 100 Elite 4 Pokemon have legitimate stats?

Hello.

I find it's extremely hard to beat Elite 4 after you've reach level 100 stage. I've got an Uber team with 4x31, right nature and EV and they even one-hit my Tyranitar and Blissey with skills that are not even fighting.

My Alakazam got a full special attack boost and it can't even deal 10% damage to a Pokemon when it uses Psybeam.

Metagross got more than 400 attack and it can't even deal 50% hp to a Seviper. It got more than 350 defense, more than 300 hp and iron defense boost and it still gets 1 shot.

Those insane numbers don't occur when I do PvP.

So, again, my question is: Are those Pokemon legitimate or do they have custom stats to make them even stronger than Mew-Two?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Psybeam is the problem. Try teaching it psychic.

Yes, a blissey is pretty much tons of hp, a lot of spdef, and like 5 def. So it will get one-shotted by any physical moves like earthquake, double-edge..

If you say they're easy to beat, then I should learn how to play Pokemon better.

I just thought they were some kind of custom event for your entertainment, like Omega and Ultima weapon in Final Fantasy series that are even stronger than the final boss.

Nope, they're legit PvP teams. They even predict your switches sometimes (happened to me, was mindfucked)

Sets are legit

Also, Psybeam is trash, use Psychic instead.

They all have legitimate stats. The teams were custom build with EV spreads and movesets by RacheLucario with the aim to be challenging I would imagine. They're even PP maxed.

Ehh... that's not always the case. Usually only on sets that don't have full HP and Defense. It still takes lots of damage from neutral STAB attacks though.

Maybe you're just bad

Probably, but I still found it shocking that my full-tanking Metagross got 1-shot by a physical movement that was not super-effective against it.

I'm talking about the maths. I guess they're all 6x31, which is interesting to play against in order to train before a serious tournament with no Ubers allowed.

As others have stated, the Pokemon you face are completely legitimate, even down to the combinations of odd and even IVs when they're running Hidden Power.  They're fully EV trained and many are holding (legitimate) items that boost their damage outputs. To beat them, you'll need a well-considered team, good prediction, and healing items.

Assuming you hit it with Thunderpunch, Ice Punch, or a move of similar power, dealing under 50% to a Seviper is perfectly normal. Using Meteor Mash instead will give you a good chance to take it down in one hit.

252+ Atk Metagross ThunderPunch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Seviper: 140-165 (48.7 - 57.4%) -- 94.1% chance to 2HKO

If you were actually using Meteor Mash but are mistaken about the species you faced, there is at least one Arbok with this EV spread/nature/item. On a low/average damage roll, the Leftovers Recovery will make it seem that you've dealt under 50% to it.

252+ Atk Metagross Meteor Mash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Arbok: 168-198 (51.8 - 61.1%) -- 94.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Assuming that your Metagross is being hit on the special side, being OHKOd with an Iron Defense boost is also normal, as it boosts only the defense stat. It's also worth noting that critical hits will ignore your defense boosts, so a crit Earthquake or similar will take you out easily.

KaynineXL has been working on a guide for the Elite Four and it's coming along nicely. You can find it here.
