The Summer Ball is returning for 2016!

This is a 10 week Underused tournament series. Players will get the chance to win tickets to the coveted Summer Ball finale where they will battle it out for the grand prize.

Automated Tournament | Single Battle | 64 Players | 6v6 UU

 

Date & Time:

Friday 19th August | 22:22 BST : 17:22 EDT

 

Registration:

Registration will open 15 minutes prior to the tournament. You will be able to register for a tournament on the top floor of a Pokemon Centre, through the battle PC. The PC you need is the one on the right, which I am standing in front of in the picture below. You can also register for the tournament by clicking the PvP menu option (Masterball icon on the bottom right of your client).

Due to the popularity of the last tournament series we will not be allowing players who already have an invite to participate in the subsequent Qualifiers. This does not include RESERVE invite holders.

Additional Notes:

• Disconnecting during a match will result in a DQ (only applies if you fail to reconnect).
• Do not block the Staff running the Event. If you disregard requests for you to unblock staff members then you will be disqualified.

I have been unable to reach Desu or Squirtle to change the error on the tournament start time. Therefore I am afraid that there will be a 22 minute delay on the start time of this tournament. 

Sign ups for this event will start at 22:07 BST | 17:07 EDT

I apologise for the inconvenience, I am still getting used to this automated tournament malarkey myself.

Probably tried signing up with the new johto starters. They just got banned before the start of the tourney. Thats my guess anyway.

The ban of Meganium, Typhlosion and Fereligatr was done last minute.

The Tier Council wasn't up to date with the implementation of these starters and the development team decided to put them in UU initially.

As soon as the Tier Council was informed, they decided it would be best to ban all three to OU as happend with Milotic.

Due to a typo, I have accidently banned the the actual starters (Totodile etc) to UU instead of the fully evolved ones.

This was pointed out to me only last minute, so they were only banned last minute before the sign-ups.

 

An unfortunate mistake, apologies for the inconvenience caused.
