Allow mail to be sent to Alts (On the same account)

You can't send mail to your alts that are attached to the same account. The error message is, "You cannot send mail to yourself." I am not sure if this is intended to stop an exploit, but it would be very useful to exchange over items/money from your alt accounts to your main account without other people or a second computer.

I know this has been suggested multiple times. I think the reason devs haven't put this in is because they don't really want alts running rampant (then again why would you give an account 3 characters then). I 100% agree with this idea though.

i have a shit ton of alts and i regularly mail myself things because turning on one of the 3 computers in this room is a lot or work compared to mail. i have never run into this problem. if this is meant to discourage the making of alts it only works for those who have a few on the same account. sounds to me like the solution of making even MORE alts to get around this is worse in the eyes of staff then making a few alts.

Is there any real reason to not implement this function?

Most MMO have this function enabled by default, for example World of Warcraft.
