20 % + Money with Donator Status

Recommended Posts

We literally had a thread similar to this a few days ago, it is a deliberate design choice that the donator status does not give you any bonus to cash gains and I think that's a good way to keep it

The answer is no, I am confident they will never add this

If you want to convert Reward Points into Pokeyen then sell Donator Status itself or cosmetic items.

to get money easier

And you think this is the best way lmao? Not creating alternate methods to farm cash, not improving item rates?

Pay irl cash? Boi there are plenty of p2w games on the market, go play one of those if you wanna waste your money

Why is it so bad to pay IRL cash to get money? That's what people do mostly, buy items to sell is that soo bad?

Decreasing the chances of 20% to 10 % might work out better

why?

Kouteshi, in the real world money production is monitored and regulated by bodies of power such as the Government so that money doesn't lose it's value by being too common, so they don't print more and more cash they make sure the same number of dollar bills circulate, they try not to ever increase the number of dollar bills because they would lose their value and cause Inflation.

In video games like pokemmo money is simply data that is automatically added into the game, so there is no control of it and games like this are prone to inflation where money becomes worth less than it used to, so games like this often have "Money Sinks" a money sink is something that takes money out of the game forever, such as buying Breeding IV Braces or buying Pokéballs from NPC's, that money is gone forever, this is done to help regulate the infinite money being added to the game and help it keep its value

So in short, we want an equal number of ways to lose money as we want ways to gain money, so any way to add more money to add more money to the game is in general going to be bad game design as it makes inflation more likely

Another reason people do not want this suggestion is you are saying they should use a microtransaction item in particular for this, which is really really frowned upon as its unfair to those people who can't afford it and makes the game better for those willing to pay more money in the free-to-play game, hence the joke name "Pay-To-Win"

I am 100% this won't be added to the game due to said game wanting to avoid aiding inflation and because the developers do not want the game to be Pay-To-Win, that is why literally nothing given through Reward Points actually directly affects gameplay between players.

If you really want to spend your money to be the best, find another game. Don't try to ruin this one.

Why is that your response when he asked you the legitimate response of "Why is it bad"?

he clearly didn't understand the repercussions in the long term, no need to tell him to play a different game, or imply he is trying to ruin pokemmo.
