Will you come help find him some friends?Date: Thursday April 28Time: 8PM EDT | 12AM UTC/GMT | 1AM BST Conversion HereVenue: Pokemon Fan Club Slateport City Channel 7Prize: 100k per roundRules: Event information will be broadcast over Channel chat. There will be 20 rounds in which a Pokemon species and nature will be given by the event host. Players will then search for and capture that Pokemon, and the first to show it in Normal chat at the event venue will win a point for that round. The winner of a round will receive 100k for their trouble You must link the Pokemon in Normal chat at the event venue, no other chat will be accepted Pokemon must be obtained after the required Pokemon are revealed in chat You may not breed the Pokemon for an entry You must be the OT of the Pokemon You may not trade another player or use the GTL to locate the required Pokemon Any attempts to cheat such as submitting an invalid entry will result in disqualification Translations: Spanish: [spoiler] Descripcion del Evento: El presidente del club de aficionados de Pokemon está buscando pokemons para ser sus amigos. The NPAA (specifically DracoTheHero) hosted an event like this one night a few weeks ago to find a timid(?) caterpie. There were only about 15 of us hunting for one, all in the same patch of grass, but it took way longer than it should have. The best part was that Draco was handing out 30 pokeballs to everyone each time they ran out. With 20 rounds I can see how that could get very expensive for the players or host, since you'd be just catching every one of the species you encountered and praying that it was the right nature. Since this is an official event, I'm sure the rounds will be super quick, however it would be nice if we didn't have to waste our own pokeballs/yen. Other than that, I just hope I'm online to participate :) Link to comment

Other than that, I just hope I'm online to participate :) Whilst your feedback is appreciated I do have to point out that we do not intend to supply Pokeballs for capture events. Doing so is very abusable as we have no way of knowing a player is truly out of Pokeballs. As far as round difficulty, the rounds will vary in difficulty. The speed at which rounds complete will depend largely upon how quickly players capture the target, bring it back to us, and link it in Normal chat. There is no set time on the rounds.
