Clamperl allowed (and Gastly)? oh boy. Awesome to see Little Cup though.

Edit: Please make this 64 man bracket, it would be frustrating to raise a team without getting in. Matches last like 1/8 of the normal battle anyways, probably much less than that too.

Clamperl is allowed as Deep Sea Tooth is banned from this Tournament.

Also, I can't make this a 64-man bracket since LC has no Tournament mode in-game, the refs can not multi-ref many matches. Also, we're waiting to see a general response from players on the interest in these Tournaments all-together.

Aah I missed the item bans, makes sense then.

I really don't understand why cannot you play it in tournament mode, as far as I know if you have level 5s and start a Tournament mode they will still remain lv 5s.

What is the reasoning behind 3v3? Just because people don't have the pokemon? Because from a competitive perspective, I imagine 3v3 being a lot more match-up based than say 6v6. Also, seeing as doubles is a completely different format than singles, the same pokemon are probably not viable there, hence meaning LC doubles would require you to make an entirely new set of pokemon. I would probably settle on one standard metagame, like 6v6 singles, rather than making so many completely different ones. Just my thought.

I don't think baton pass should be banned nor should berry juice. LC is literally the berry juice tier

Berry Juice has been modified and is allowed in this tournament.

Baton pass will remain banned, as it is banned even in Tournament mode.

Tournament Mode does work, but we don't have a Little Cup format that handles the allowed pokemon / levels / items.

This means the refs need to check each individual match for used pokemon, appropriate level and items, which is more time consuming. (I am sure you remember how long Tournaments lasted back in 2013).

Reasoning behind 3v3 is to create a small entry barrier for players to join the Tournament. Making it 6v6, would require people to make at least 6 LC Comps (Let's say 9 if they don't want to get scouted) in a small time frame. In the future, it will become 6v6 as stated in the OP.

The Doubles is a gimmick, gimmicks are fun.

Tag team is standard metagame.

Diglett is both in allowed and banned Pokemon atm.

Edit: @ Tyrone, we're still talking about a format which matches last on average 2-4 minutes, with this meta could be even less. Basically just doubling the amount of matches compared to a standard OU tournament which matches last average of 20+ minutes.

The match length probably is short enough to allow a larger bracket size given the constraints of reffing.

I believe the bigger problem lies with the amount of sign-ups. We don't know how much interest there is in this event yet and don't want to overreach with the initial Bracket size.

SIgn-ups are a few days before the event starts. If there's a big difference in the amount of sign-ups and Bracket size, a larger Bracket will be considered.

Hype!!!!!

I'm gonna make a guide later similar to doubleJs doubles one. Would appreciate any help from the community I can get

I think a Little Cup guide would be much appreciated, since this specific Tier/Format isn't too popular right now in the game itself, but we're hoping it will pick up.
