"Mom" Bank

In the games, you could have your Mom save money for you and put it away like a banking system. Sometimes she would use your money and buy you random items.

 

My suggestion is to implement this in PokeMMO, since we dont have a banking system. The random items part could be left out or added too, whatever the devs / community prefer.

Well, it would be optional like it is in the original games, and I believe there should be a cap to how much she can use and how often, and you should be given a warning that she may spend your money every so often in exchange for a random item. If it were to be limeplented.

 

If not I think a lot of players would be happy with a simple "Mom" bank and none of the spending money bit.

I believe the implementation of the mom bank was necessary in the original games due to the fact that a loss of a pokemon fight resulted in a loss of money.

We don't have that mechanic here anymore (RIP 200k to Pidgey #2013). So it doesn't serve any purpose to include it.

This just doesn't seem necessary at all. The only time a person has to worry about their money going anywhere is when they manually spend it on something that they confirm. We all just have really, really big wallets.

I thought it would be a neat feature, I liked the mystery gifts from Mom in the original games, and I have a bad habit of spending all my money when I get it. lol

 

I was thinking it would be cool if mom spent like 25k out of your bank and you got a random cosmetic as the "big prize," and actual cost for items like pokeballs, full heals, etc.
