Players will get the chance to win tickets to the coveted Winter Showdown finale where they will battle it out for the grand prize. Hosted by: RipHenk & RacheLucario Poster Art by: RacheLucario Schedule: 08/01 - 1st Qualifier 15/01 - 2nd Qualifier 22/01 - 3rd Qualifier 29/01 - 4th Qualifier 05/02 - 5th Qualifier 12/02 - 6th Qualifier 19/02 - 7th Qualifier 26/02 - 8th Qualifier 04/03 - Reserves tournament 11/03 - Finals Players who come first and second in the qualifying tournaments will win a guaranteed invite to the Showdown, there will also be a battle for third place where the winner will be awarded with a reserve invite. Due to the popularity of the last tournament series we will not be allowing players who already have an invite to participate in the subsequent qualifiers. This does not include RESERVE invite holders. The qualifying tournaments will be 32 man Single Elimination 6v6 OU. The Showdown Finals will be 16 man Double Elimination 6v6 OU. Reserve ticket holders will battle in the ninth week to decide the order of the reserves, that will be a round robin format tournament. The prize for every qualifier will be a choice between: 1,000,000 Pokeyen or 1000 Reward Points and a personalised signature (courtesy of Darkshade): The prize for the reserves tournament will be 500 Reward Points. Registration for the Qualifiers: Registration for the Qualifiers will still take place 10 minutes before the tournament starts, there will be no added rules this year and invite holders are welcome to continue to take part in the qualifiers. Prizes for the PokeMMO Winter Showdown Finale: 1st Place An Eevee or Eeveelution of your own turned into a GIFT shiny and 2,000,000 Pokeyen 2nd Place Gift shiny Growlithe with egg move Morning Sun (Your choice of nature and 25/25/25/25/25/31 IVs) and 1,000,000 Pokeyen 3rd Place Third Place Gift shiny Meditite with egg move Fake Out (Your choice of nature and 25/25/25/25/25/31 IVs) and 500,000 Pokeyen Note for Doubles Players We are aware that the expectation was that the next Seasonal was to be Doubles but we felt that Doubles needed a little work before we ran one. The staff will be working towards expanding the tier and gaining new Doubles players by hosting regular Doubles events as well as seeing if there are any improvements that can be made to the battle timer before requesting the Developers to fix it.
