Mean Look and Baton Pass

Two Questions:

 

1) Is Baton Pass banned in Battle Fronier?

2) Can the effect of Mean Look stll be passed via Baton Pass?

1: No, you can use Baton Pass.

 

2: Mean Look cannot be passed via Baton Pass as it runs on later gen mechanics.

You can use baton Pass in BF, its only banned when using turnament mode. 

 

dont know if it works when mean look/block or some trapping ability is in play.

But is it correct that before the Physical/Special spilt was implemented, Mean Look could be passed via BP, in PokeMMO?

Actually I'm pretty sure it has never worked here - it used to be the subject of a lot of controversy. Some would just pretend it was working, but wasn't there a high profile tournament where someone switched out on a mean look BP? I wanna say master of masters but I could be wrong

It was Master of Masters, I can't remember who the match up was but I can remember Amanu telling the story on TS.

It was bowser vs fraggs(?) at one of the masters tourny. Bowser asked the host about meanlook b4 the tourny. The ref said he can use it but didnt mention not upholding the effect during a baton pass. They decided during that tourny that we were going to abide by the l8er gens mechanics.
