[Denied]More unneeded scripts/chat bubbles removed.

Recommended Posts

Basically, all of those annoying chat bubbles that don't really make a huge difference if they're removed, besides the point that they make it easier for us players to get somewhere faster.

Like, do we really need to get asked every single time if we want to Surf on the water? Yeah, part of the original games, always has been, and it's been an annoying one to start with.

Here's a few that I think wouldn't hurt being removed, that I'm pretty sure most of the players here would agree that they'd be better off if they weren't there:

-Asking confirmation for using the HM moves.

Like, all of them,  Cut/Surf/Strenght/Etc, removing them would speed things up a lot, and don't really see a con for this, besides "but it won't feel the same as pokemon" kinds of posts.

-Transfering between Kanto/Hoenn

Definitively not needed either. Ever since the update, everyone knows how the default instant "Yes" option got turned into "No", so even more annoying now.

-Hoenn NPC's.

Kanto's VS Seeker NPC's already have it without any chat bubbles, besides the ones where you start fighting them. Hoenn ones have it so you have to go and actually call/talk to them, and tbh, doing that with every single NPC is kinda annoying..

Just wanted to give a few, if someone can think of some more, then feel free.

Yeah, obv thoughts would be appriciated, I already know some people get annoyed by this, but I guess I also know how just removing random scripts from the client can be a change that isn't worth it or something.
And no, I didn't mention Nurse Joy, someone can go ahead and do that, I'm not gonna suggest the woman who treats my pokemon to be removed
They make the transportation between Kanto to Hoenn as A "No" to prevent noobs going into one region and getting stuck there and just spamming chat asking question about how to get back, where are all my pokemons. Getting rid of what they did to stop the accident is really dumb.

Fair point, that's one that wouldn't be beneficial.

I would like to an option in settings to remove some of the over used/annoying scripts.

Then again, this'd be very good, fixes that problem, and gives both who don't like this, and the ones who are up for it a good balance

I really don't see a point to this idea. "It speeds things up a lot faster" lol? It takes half a second to press an arrow key and say "yes" to something and I'll stick to what would be said. If HMs were removed, it really wouldn't feel like Pokemon. I don't think that this idea is a good one, and I don't have an issue with starting on a "No" option. Just stop complaining and play the game lol xD

EDIT:
Also, it's pretty easy to edit strings, why not do that instead. xD

Nobody said anything about HM's being removed...

^That'd basically be the point, it's right there at the start of the thread.

I don't really see how removing a few chat bubbles that tend to be a annoying, seeing how we all go through them on a daily basis, makes the game "Not feel like Pokemon".

And yeah, if everybody knew how to edit strings, well, that's when this whole thread wouldn't have a point.
