Description: Hold on to your hats and get ready to bring in Autumn with the PokeMMO Autumn League. Do you have what it takes to claim the title of PokeMMO Autumn League Champion at the end of this series? Check out the details below.

How it will work:

• Players will sign up at the specified time below. If they are one of the first 36 then they are in the league.
  • There are no reserves. If you miss a week your matches are counted as a loss in the rankings.
  • Be sure that if you sign up that you can make all 5 weeks.
• Players will be divided into two conferences, Hoenn and Kanto. Each conference will be subdivided into 3 groups of 6.
• The groups will be paired off with of the matches for each group being slotted to face a group from the other conference.
• Each set of matches will take place on the same day each week at the same time. Each player will be slotted 4 matches each week.
  • There will not be a set bracket on Challonge for these matches. These will be manually assigned each week and distributed to the staff prior to each league meet. This is to ensure no two players matchup twice during the first 4 weeks.
• Rankings will be posted at the end of each week.
• Each player will complete 16 matches total at the end of 4 weeks after which the top 8 players from each conference will be paired off for the playoffs.
• Any ties in rankings at the end of the 4 weeks will have a playoff to break them immediately.
  • These playoffs will be a 3v3 best of 3 series.

Where will we play?
All matches will take place at the Lilycove Contest Hall on Channel 7. Each set of matches will be divided to their own stage with 6 matches running at once.

How will the playoffs work?
The playoffs will be seeded in a traditional style, meaning 1 seeds face 8 seeds and so on. The overall goal is that the top 8 players from each conference work through the bracket towards the finals with the finals having the two Conference Champions facing off for the title. How do we register?

Registration will begin at 7PM EDT on September 27 and close at 7PM EDT on October 3 or when the participant cap has been reached.

To register post your IGN in this thread when registration opens. Be sure to abide by the rules below.

All matches will be ran in Tournament Mode with the only NU tier checked. If you start your match with any additional tiers checked your match will be restarted.

The standard tournament clauses should be checked. Pristine/Bag Item/Species/Sleep/OHKO/Self KO/Evasion/Hax(OP) Item

If you check any additional clauses your match will be restarted.

 

Notes:

• Disconnecting during a match when result in a DQ.
  • You are not eliminated with this DQ, it only counts as a loss in your record.
• Do not block the Staff running the Event. If you disregard requests for you to unblock staff members then you will be disqualified.
• Once your first match is called you must report to the stage. You will not have 10 minutes to prepare for this one.
  • After your first match you will have 10 minutes to report to the stage from the time your match is called. No time extensions.

Regarding ranking ties. If two players are tied for 9th place then they will do a 3v3 best of 3 tiebreaker to determine who gets 9th place, the loser would get 10th.
