[MOD] PokeMMO Animated Battle Mod

Were you able to test them? I had to split the mods because they were too big + i had to scale them individually..

Yes, the 17th of August, over and tried it, it works without any problem.
But thanks for the suggestion, I will make them individually.  :D

Pretty awesome mod, however I find that the enemy sprites are way too big and they don't look that good in comparison to back sprites. And for some reason when I use a pokeball on wild pokemon a tentacool sprite will appear on top of it.

But besides that nice job man.

First i would like to thank you for creating this mod. There are couple things that I would like to point out.

 

1. Our in-game battle sprites are too large compared to the foes, shrinking them a tiny bit would be awesome. The Foes battle sprites are much better after the update, but still needs more shrinking in size.

2. Some sprites are glitchy in battle.

3. Some sprites need re-positioning.

Enemy Mudkip turns into a metalcoat sometimes  :D Other than that it is great so far. Good Job

Edit: To be more precise Wild Mudkip turned into a metalcoat in an instant. Same thing happened with a second wild mudkip.

This glitch is curious, I guess that's the game. The .gif file does not have faults... sorry :/

Hablo español, así que no hay problema, intenta con el fix que coloque hasta el momento, luego intentare mejorar el fix reduciendo el tamaño y la posición de cada sprite.

 

I speak Spanish, so no problem, try to fix that place so far. Then try to improve the fix by reducing the size and position of each sprite.

Did you try the new fix?

 

Yes. I work on that, but I must adjust positions.

  • The aerodactyl sprite in particular needs adjusted. Either the enemy one needs to be smaller or the one from your party (back view) needs to be bigger. Look at it aero vs aero and you see what I mean. (my opinion)
  • Flygon (back view) looks too small. (my opinion).

Maybe these are tools that can help?

In theory, I would just pick a reference point like a nidoking or arcanine - I think those are around 5-6 feet in height. Then I would just base the *ones I was having a hard time with* (most sprites look okay) off those. This guy in this youtube video did it and used 5'9" (labeled an average-ish height of a person) as a reference point:
