If you really wanted to make it easier for new players to understand you should have said like 6v6 OU Tournament mode(You can use any OU, UU or NU Pokemon) Link to comment

Just because noobs call it mistakenly "OU, UU and NU" tournament (which implies to completely something else, like a mixed tier or tier shift tournament) it's no excuse to not call the format as the format it really is - which is 6v6 OU in this case. This is not just a thing "experienced players" use, it literally is THE way to call this kind of a format in all competitive Pokemon because in competitive Pokemon you are always allowed to use the tier below what the tournament format is.
