Sign up to take part in the ultimate test of knowledge. All categories contain questions from all 6 generations of Pokemon. Are you up to the challenge?Date: Saturday, August 15Time: 7PM EDT | 11PM GMTLocation: Devon Corp. Lobby Ch.7How will this work? There will be two regular rounds plus Final Jeopardy for a total of three rounds. The first two rounds will play the same way with the point values in Round 2 doubling from Round 1. The game will start with one player being randomly chosen to pick the first category and point value. I will then post an answer in Shout Chat. Players are to respond in the form of a question in Normal Chat. Example: I post, "It can go for days without eating a single morsel. In the bulb on its back, it stores energy." Players would have to respond, "What is Bulbasaur?" Incorrect guesses or guesses not in the form of a question will result in that player losing points. The first player to guess correctly gets the point value of the question added to their score and chooses the next category and point value. If no one guesses correctly within 30 seconds of the answer being posted the last player to get a correct guess chooses again. Final Jeopardy will have a single category and answer. After the category is announced each player will whisper me their point wager. Players cannot wager more points than they have and they may not wager less than 1 point. You do not lose these off of your total during the wager. Once I have all wagers recorded I will post the answer. Players will have 30 seconds to respond. The first player to get it correct gets their wagered points added to their total. All other players will lose their wagered points. The player with the most points at the end wins.How will we know what is left to pick? Before each next question is posted I will link the board in chat for everyone to see. Any attempts to bypass this will result in disqualification. Test posting is not allowed. Anyone caught test posting will be barred from entry. Edited posts will not be accepted. Edit: Paying 1M If we tried to make every event work for every time zone it would be a maddening endeavor. I'm on the other side of the globe so when you have your evenings I am most likely in the early hours of the morning or at work. This is true for everyone. We try to host events at a variety of times to be as inclusive as possible but it is an impossibility to make every single event line up perfectly for every time zone. Link to comment
