Not everyone is on the same date. While those in the GMT zone will be on July 31, those of use in the EDT zone will still be on July 30. The time is listed in 12 hour format, meaning 12AM GMT is 00:00 GMT. When the event starts at 8PM today, it will be 12AM for what would be tomorrow for players in the EDT zones or earlier.
