honestly i feel stupid just for suggesting this thread as it shouldve been made a while ago but really, pikachu thread when?
another match where someone is outplayed the entire match but loses simply because pikachu is a god

I don't think I have the authority to post the thread but we definitely want as much community feedback as possible for its test, feel free to just post here about it

It may be a really good idea on the offensive side, but it would be really hard to balance a team with both pikachu and raichu. If people actually manage to do that and be successful, kudos to them. Their success would be more about their skill than pikachu and raichu being too good

You should check my replays in the past couple NU tournaments.

there isn't anything viable to come in on a Pikachu in NU atm

Rn it is Bellossom.

If your not running sig beam or hp ice, this is the go to mon to wall.

Volt, Brick, Surf, Exspeed.

Imo Bello/Clay can come in. Just my thoughts.

Sure it can have Surf but Claydol can tank (Sassy) and Ohko with Eq.

True but this basically means you can't play against a pikachu without knowing it's set,  which was kind of the problem with gengar

such viable much wow

btw would like to point out that physical pika rapes the special pika counters, special pika rapes the physical pika counters, mixed pika does a little bit of both

and if you're gonna run special pika counters+ physical pika counters because you're that scared of pika then it just means it's overcentralizing

There are overcentralizing pokemons in all tiers. What you say about pikachu and its counters could be applicable to other pokemons that can be build physical, special and mixed sweeper/wallbreaker.

There's really not that many pokes that are quite versatile in their respective tiers as pika is in NU tho.
