[Translation] French Translation/Traduction Française [14-10-13 update]

This french translation includes the following:
-Pokemon moves 100%
-Pokemon names 100%
-Abilities/Natures 100%
-Item names/Descriptions 100%
-Pokedex Entries 100%
-Story ???% (Up to Vermillion City)
-in-game strings 100% (only shop/pokecenter strings)
-GUI strings 100%
-Emulator Images 100%

All this translation is the work of me and @Crony.

Download from Fr 0.7.5
You will need a program like winzip, winrar or 7-zip to decompress the file, and Lunar IPS to patch the rom.
How to use Lunar IPS:

Decompress the content to the root of your POKEMMO folder.

That explains why then ^^ for High i would suggest "Élevée" rather than "Haut" in this case, since it seems to be like an indication of the server population. Maybe even translate "Server status" as "État du serveur" or rather "Population du serveur" or "Population", since it seems to indicate only that. If you need any help with something just ask me, as i am a Native french. I'll download your translation and see if i can spot any other thing that would need a revision

Nope, i'm not in the french translation team. I did not even know there was one to begin with.. but, for the move names/descriptions and all this stuff, i think it would be better to just copy those of the official french games.. it would be easier as well

that's what i am actually doing, if you want to help, i'd be glad to send you all the stuff you need, i'm currently modifying a tool to read and edit pokemon names, pokedex enteries.

Well, i can try i guess, i would gladly help if i can. I will do as i said first though, dlding what you already did and check for errors

Edit: I checked and there are many errors actually.. fixing them would be kind of useless i think, because i checked this translation here and we would end up just making a duplicate of it basically.. since this one has everything good. So it would be better to just focus on the rom translation ^^

je peux vous aider pour les textes plus ou moins long ,mais pas pour les nom des pokemons/Attaques des pokemons. Je suis français mais pas suffisamment pokemon-addict pour connaitre les traductions officiels de ces derniers :)

Premier et second post du topic updaté avec la dernière version 0.6, incluant les nouvelles strings + les dialogues du jeu traduits jusqu'à Carmin sur Mer. Si jamais vous rencontrez des bugs ou des dialogues encore en anglais entre Bourg palette et Carmin sur mer, n'hésitez pas à les indiquer afin que je puisse m'en charger, avec un screen du dialogue en question. Merci ^^

First and second posts of the topic have been updated with the latest 0.6 patch, including new strings + dialogs translated up to Vermilion city. If you encounter glitches or untranslated dialogs from Pallet town up to Vermilion city, do not hesitate to post them here with a screenshot as proof, so that i can correct them. Thanks ^^

Quelques peuguu oublis cependant :P

Bourg palette :

- la fille juste en dessous de notre maison parle en anglais

- tout au fond du labo de chen, il y a 2 panneaux, celui de droite est en anglais

- Interaction avec la pokeball restante sur le bureau du prof chen : That's prof oak's last pokemon

- la bibliothèque chez blue est en anglais

Jadielle :

- Le type a droite du centre pokemon vous répond "Ok then" si vous choisissez non

- A l'académie au dessus du centre pokémon, la bibliothèque est en anglais

- Le vieil homme qui donne la poké TV (à gauche de l'arène) ne parle qu'en anglais

- Le panneau "trainer tips" tout au nord de la ville n'est pas traduit

Foret de jade :

- le panneau le plus au nord en partant de l'entrée n'est pas traduit

Route 2 :

- Dans la maison où on obtient M.Mime, le pnj vous parle en anglais une fois l'échange réalisé

Argenta :

- Dans le centre pokemon, a droite du PC, la gamine me dit : "Please tell me more about yourself next time!"

- au musée, le monsieur au guichet à l'entrée parle en anglais

- dans la partie est du musée, ni les PNJ ni les bibliothèques ne sont traduites

Azuria :

- Le pnj à l'entrée de la grotte de mewtwo parle en anglais

- Le petit enfant à gauche du centre pokémon parle en anglais

- Dans le magasin de vélo, le PNJ à droite ainsi que le vendeur parlent en anglais (lorsqu'on possède le vélo du moins)

- Dans le centre pokémon, la bibliothèque n'est pas traduite

- Dans la maison a gauche du centre pokémon, le monsieur qui échange lippoutou parle en anglais une fois l'échange réalisé

- Dans la maison cambriolée, le monsieur parle en anglais

Souterrain azuria <-> Carmin sur mer :

- Je n'ai pas testé, mais il est probable que la gamine qui échange nidoran parle en anglais une fois l'échange réalisé

Carmin sur mer :

- Le monsieur juste en dessous du centre pokémon parle en anglais une fois que le SS Anne est parti

- Le monsieur qui donne la canne parle en anglais (une fois qu'il l'a donnée du moins)

- La bibliothèque du centre pokémon n'est pas traduite

- La dame qui fournit le VS Seeker dans le centre pokémon parle en anglais (une fois qu'elle l'a donné du moins)

- La fillette qui échange canarticho parle en anglais (daprès l'échange du moins)

- Dans la maison pokémon, le gros monsieur au pikachu parle en anglais

- Le panneau indiquant la cave taupiqueur n'est pas traduit

Je ne sais pas si c'est possible, mais éventuellement il pourrait aussi etre intéressant de :

Merci beaucoup Bhen, je vais essayer de m'occuper de ça.. même si sans screens/copie des dialogues en anglais, je vais avoir du mal à en retrouver certains. Pour ce qui est des classes de dresseur et des messages, j'avais demandé à Omarrrio et il me semble que ce n'est pas possible.

Thanks a lot Bhen, i'll try to take care of it, even though it will be hard to find some of the english dialogs without a screen/copy of them. For the trainer classes and the messages, i asked Omarrrio and i think it wasn't possible to translate them.
