The idea behind this team is to make wear down the ennemy team right away. Toxic/Explosion/Perish Song/Hail will most likely force the ennemy to take unwanted damage. Most of the pokemons in this team have a lot of investement in speed, because their purpose is to make sure they do damange before dying. Tentacruel liquid ooze is there to protect Quagsire from grass leeching attacks and to make sure once again that the ennemy does not regenerate in any way. Then there is Azumarill with his perfect water/normal coverage that will threathen the ennemy team in many ways. If the ennemy team leaves this duel with no pokemon dead, it will mean that they had to switch often and had to take a lot of damage from spikes.

EV Spread: 252 atk / 252 speed / 6 hp

Nature: Jolly

Held Item: Choice Band

- Ice Punch

- Bite

- Brick Break

- Return

Tyranitar, as a lead, is here to start off the match with sandstorm that will cancel leftovers recovery. The choice band set puts a lot of pressure on the opponenet right away and will be hard to handle since only a few pokemons can take tyranatar 1v1. Cacturne is there to set up spikes and since he benefits from sand storm with sand veil he will be hard to deal with; if the opponent tries to kill cacturne, he might miss! The combo destiny bond + focus punch also allows cacturne to play around an iminent death and punish severely the opponent by doing so. Sableye is there to protect the team from dugtrio reversal sweep and if he is unable to stop dugtrio Sharpedo can always get rid of him with rough skin. Houndoom is there mostly to put pressure with overheat which would deal an enormous amount of damage on anyone who switches in. Super Fang is in Houndoom set to make sure the ennemy loses damage. Destiny bond is there to force the ennemy to wait for the kill while sandstom do damage. Sneasel Choice band is there as a fast sweeper; if he is unable to kill anyone, he might on the other hand leave the ennemy frozen (ice punch) or scared to death (flinch XD) if the RNG allows it.

EV Spread: 252 hp / 252 spdef / 6 def

Nature: Calm

Held Item: Leftovers

- Spikes

- Surf

- Ancient Power

- Ice Beam

Same idea as before, Tyranitar as a lead will annoy the ennemy right away with sand storm, but this time dugtrio won't be there to sweep this monotype rock. Like I stated before, not many thign can take on Tyranitar 1v1, but sadly Metagross can. And the main problem with metagross is that this entire monotype can't stop metagross, except for NOSEPASS!!! So the idea here is to force metagross in play right away by putting him against tyranitar. Once he kills tyranitar, he will face shuckle that will knock off  his lum berry or his choice band. If Metagross chooses to switch out, well someone else in his team will lose an object wich is not a bad thing XD. Once shuckle gets lum berry off metagross, he will most certainly die and Nosepass come in play. His ability magnet pull does not allow metagross to switch and here is how things play out:
Turn 1

252+ Atk Metagross Meteor Mash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Nosepass: 116-138 (84.6 - 100.7%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

(There is a good chance Nosepass survives and his berry will get activated +1 def)

Nosepass then paralyses Metagross with thunderwave and becomes faster on turn 2.

Turn 2

Nosepass uses pain split. If metagross has 0 ev hp, he will then be back at a minimum 56.9 % of his life points (78/137).

If metagross has 252 ev hp, he will then be back at a minimum 68.6 % of his life points(94/137).

252+ Atk Metagross Meteor Mash vs. +1 252 HP / 252+ Def Nosepass: 78-92 (56.9 - 67.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

If Metagross does not have ev investiment in hp, Nosepass dies but he leaves Metagross paralyses which is ironic since he has speed ev investment. If Metagross does have ev investiment in hp, there is a good chance nosepass suvrvives and set up iron defense XD
Metagross has now been dealt with, which mean the monotype rock will have an easier time. Omastar sets up spikes and threathen the ennemy with a powerful water stab. Cradily his insanely bulky and becomes a serious threat with curse. Cradily also stalls the ennemy quite well which is a pain when this is not much pp left since this is the third duel. Aerodactyl is here as a fast sweeper, but also as an annoying staller with pressure. When Aerodactyl dies, the ennemy's pokemon won't have a lot of pp left to face Lance.
Lance (monotype psychic)
Solrock

Ability: Levitate

EV Spread: 252 Hp / 252 spdef / 6 def

Nature: Careful

Held Item: Choice Band

- Explosion

- Rock Slide

- Earthquake

- Return

Mewtwo

Ability: Pressure

EV Spread: 252 spatk / 228 speed / 30 hp

Nature: Modest

Held Item: Leftovers

- Psychic

- Hidden Power Fighting

- Substitute

- Protect

Metagross

Ability: Clear Body

EV Spread: 252 atk / 252 speed / 6 hp

Nature: Adamant

Held Item: Choice Band

- Meteor Mash

- Earthquake

- Thunderpunch

- Pursuit

Wobuffet

Ability: Shadow Tag

EV Spread: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 spdef

Nature: Impish

Held Item: Leftover

- Encore

- Destiny bond

- Counter

- Miror Coat

Jynx

Ability: Oblivious

EV Spread: 252 hp / 252 Speed / 6 def

Held Item: Leftovers

- Lovely Kiss

- Mean look

- Substitute

- Perish song

Slowbro

Ability: Own Tempo

EV Spread: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 speed

Held Item: Left overs

- Toxic

- Thunder Wave

- Fire Blast

- Surf

Solrock is the lead; 90% of the time he will explode right away which is extremely dangerous when all the opposing pokemons are low hp. Only ghost, rock or steel pokemons will survive and those are what metagross choice band prefer. Pursuit for ghost/Meteor Mash for rock and Earthquake for steel. Then there is Slowbro that will force status the ennemy before dying. If he toxict the opposing pokemon, mewtwo can stall him with protect/substitute or wobbufet can simply trap him to death. If he paralyses, then perish trapper jynx can easily set up with substitute. Wobbufet will most likely kill someone before dying. Which leaves Mewtwo to finish the job with his Ubers stats. By the time Mewtwo comes into play, the ennemy won't have any pp left and sub/protect pressure mewtwo will discourage the ennemy to ever try the elite 4 again.

Since revives and potions do not restore pp, the player will have to use even more money on elixir in order to get through Lance.

I feel like there wasn't a clear answer to the questions asked on the earlier page, if there was im sorry and i guess it confused me.

But the question is can people heal between e4 members, yes or no?

I really hope so, otherwise i jsut wasted 1 hour in my life kek

I just figured that the point of this event was to make the elite 4 more challenging. By allowing people to heal between e4, it would actually make it easier than now...

Edit: I thought "tournament mode" only meant that some clauses were active and that pokemons were level 50, so that it would be easier to judge each post.

The players will have access to all the potions and revives that they do now. Also the player wont have access to MewTwo because they haven't beaten the Elite Four yet, but that doesn't stop one of the Elite Four members having it if you wish.

Would the Elite Four be considered "harder" if players are forced to use potions and revives?

Link to comment

itemBag is allowed for challenger ? in battle ?

No challenge so ...

i think heal the team of the challenger after battle its good but use item ...

or the same mode of the battle tower

For the sake of this we will say that all tournament mode clauses are in effect for the battles, so this would include Bag Items clause.

Lorelei

Background: I sat down with Lorelei and said, “Look, you’re beautiful and talented, but these trainers, including myself, have been running straight through you. Bruno told me he duels nearly every trainer that comes to Indigo Plateau because you just aren’t pulling your weight. I designed a team for you that should be a little more balanced while not swaying from what makes you, well you. I don’t want to take that away from you my love, because it to me makes you classic and timeless”.
Cloyster

Ability: Shell Armor

Nature: Bold

EV Spread: 252 HP / 252 SpDef / 4 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Ice Beam

- Hidden Power Electric

- Spikes

- Rapid Spin

Explanation: This baby is going to be your Primary Lead and you Defensive Wall, and it will provide an opportunity to prove your dominance. I mean just behold this beautiful monster. It survives pretty much any physical attack and can strike back with STAB Ice Beam. It hard counters most typical Gyarados, which used to have a field day setting up on you. It also drops a layer or two of spikes when the match opens, which to me is going to be the biggest thing for you. You are going to force switches like none-other and I am yet to see someone bring a Rapid Spinner to the E4. Surprise, surprise, Lorelei ain’t messing around anymore.

Regice

Ability: Clear Body

Nature: Calm

EV Spread: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Ice Beam

- Thunderbolt

- Explosion

- Thunder Wave

Explanation: Ok Lorelei, while hiking through Hoenn I stumbled across something that I believe you would truly appreciate. I know, I know, I shouldn’t have, but babe it’s honestly the least I could do. So here it is, Regice, your new Tank. I took the liberty to training it for you as well. It carries the deadly Bolt-Beam combo that covers darn near everything. I took the liberty of giving it Explosion to clear the field of an immediate threat. Nothing can really OHKO this monstrosity and so you’ll always have this chance when full health. Also, you’re team is pretty darn slow, so paralysis support is always a beautiful thing. Oh Mr. Challenger didn’t carry a Lum Berry on any of his pokemon? Ya, goodbye.

Walrein

Ability: Thick Fat

Nature: Jolly

EV Spread: 20 HP / 252 Attack / 20 Def / 4 SpDef / 212 Spe

Held Item: Salac Berry

- Waterfall

- Return

- Substitute

- Belly Drum

Explanation: Your Late-Game Sweeper. Ok, after trying to plow through everything you threw at your opponent they are going to be pretty worn down and this might be just what you need to put even more hurt on them. With Regice in play your opponent is really going to be praying for something to take it down. Most things that can do a decent job would be those things that are slow and need to spread poison. This is where Walrein comes in. Pull off one of those beautiful double switches when your opponent comes at you with a crappy Blissey and set-up your Substitute. They’ll be like wtf just happened and then you Belly Drum down to make them cry. Boom Salac Berry activated since you have that beautiful 188 HP which is divisible by 4. You don’t this is going to work? Well, just wait and see love. Just wait and see.

Sneasel

Ability: Inner Focus

Nature: Jolly

EV Spread: 252 Attack / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Held Item: Lum Berry

- Swords Dance

- Ice Punch

- Low Kick

- Bite

Explanation: Damn right Lorelei, you finally get a Sneasel. Yes I know you’ve always wanted one well here it is. And it’s going to be the Revenge Killer you’ve always wanted. With perfect coverage it will hit everything and anything thrown at you. With dual stabs and incredible speed it will terrify all of those common threats that used to make you shake in your thigh high boots. Force a switch and pull off a Swords Dance just to frighten your opponent even further. Lum Berry protects from any unwanted paralysis or burns since you want this thing swinging at its best.

Piloswine

Ability: Oblivious

Nature: Brave

EV Spread: 252 HP / 252 Attack / 4 Def

Held Item: Leftovers

- Earthquake

- Rock Slide

- Ice Beam

- Reflect

Explanation: Ya I know, Piloswine did absolutely nothing for you but die, yet let me tell you, it’s at least going to help stop that nasty Thunderbolt spam that is already making your Lapras squirm in its pokeball. Yes, it’s a Pivot. Whatever they have to throw at you is going to take a big hit from Earthquake or Ice Beam, and if anything you will get the chance to set up a Reflect to prolong the match force some more damage on your opponent. After a bit of play I’m sure you could even pull some double-switches once you identify your opponents Piloswine counter. I have the faith in you babe.

Lapras

Ability: Water Absorb

Nature: Bold

EV Spread: 252 HP / 172 SpAtt / 84 Spe

Held Item:

- Thunderbolt

- Ice Beam

- Roar

- Hidden Power Grass

Explanation: Your favorite darling just got a rework as a Phaser. Yup, it’s time to abuse those spikes you set up earlier. Roar out those incoming switches and continue to build up that damage. Bolt-Beam once again covers most of the threats that worry you, while Hidden Power Grass takes on Lanturn, Quagsire, or Swampert that could take on the infamous Thunderbolt and Ice Beam. Make em sweat beautiful. The 84 Spe is to beat Skarm and Cloyster that want to dance with you with Spikes of their own.
Final Thoughts: Well honey, this is what you’re going to use. Yes you have a glaring weakness to Fighting attacks, but that’s just the risk we run using your favorite type, Ice. Fortunately this isn’t the Elite 1, but rather the Elite 4, and thus your opponent carrying six fighting types may wreck you, but they won’t be prepared for what’s next… So how about that date?

 Agatha

Background: I had a chat with Agatha next and it went something like this: “So I talked to Lorelei and we managed to… no I still didn’t get that date. I know, I know, I should probably move on. Yes yes Agatha, she is pretty frigid. Anyhoos onto the point. I need you to be second in-line from here on out. Lorelei has a new team that really wears these challengers down. Basically stall with Spikes, status, and some hard hitters with great coverage. Unfortunately she has one big-time weakness and that’s to Fighting-types. Hahahahaha ya that’s what I thought, they’re so bad, but listen, this is why I need you fighting second. You’re going to wipe the floor clean of any of those dumb challengers that think they can carry some extra-Fighting power to get through Lorelei. I also tweaked a few things on your team just to make sure we had some balance.
Gengar

Ability: Levitate

Nature: Timid

EV Spread: 252 SpAttack / 6 SpDef / 252 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Sludge Bomb

- Shadow Ball

- Thunderbolt

- Substitute

Explanation: Agatha, your standard four attack Gengar just doesn’t cut it. You really don’t need that many attacks to cover the meta, especially with dual-stabs. I’m throwing on Substitute to gain the upper-hand on whatever switches into you, which will give you the chance to fire away with one hell of a powerful attack. As your Lead, Gengar is going to force that instand-switch on the majority of pokes that are going to be thrown at you, giving you the upper hand.

Dusclops

Ability: Pressure

Nature: Calm

EV Spread: 252 HP / 12 Def / 200 SpDef / 44 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Seismic Toss

- Shadow Ball

- Will-o-Wisp

- Pain Split

Explanation: So Lorelei had what it takes to beat most of those ridiculous Ubers and this will help in that category as well. Curselax? How about Deadlax. Tyranitar? Ya, you’re burned and I just Pain Split you for most of your health. Blissey? Well, poop. Blissey is still pretty OP if she’s sitting at a good chunk of health. More on that later. Now Dark attacks scare the living day out of your team, and to an extent fast Psychics like Espeon and Alakazam, but fortunately this baby can handle them as well with STAB Shadow Ball. Your Support option is going to threaten your opponent in many ways.

Haunter

Ability: Insomnia

Nature: Jolly

EV Spread: 252 Attack / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe

Held Item: Choice Band

- Explosion

- Curse

- Grudge

- Destiny Bond

Explanation: Yes, this seems silly, but just wait. Haunter is squishy and thus you probably only get one real chance to hit something if your opponent brings an offensive team, so with that in mind here is your suicide support. With a Choice Band, Haunter can revenge kill or predict a fighting/ground attack and switch in using Explosion or killing with Destiny Bond. Curse is another suicide option late game if you can’t kill with Explosion and don’t feel safe spamming Destiny Bond against your opponent. Grudge is an option early on to simply cripple your opponent’s primary attack to hit ghost-types. It’s all about longevity for our challenger and this baby breaks that apart.

Sableye

Ability: Keen Eye

Nature: Adamant

EV Spread: 212 HP / 252 Attack / 44 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Thunderpunch

- Ice Punch

- Substitute

- Focus Punch

Explanation: The gift you have with your team is that it can have a huge surprise factor, and this poke is the quintessence of that. Switch in on Blissey and set-up a substitute to scout for any special attacks. If it only relies on Seismic Toss, then you absolutely trash her. You also outspeed her with that 44 Speed investment. The reason why we are using this is because Blissey can hurt your team pretty badly, so we need an answer. Focus Punch away and strike anything that might come in with that damn near perfect coverage of Thunder/Ice Punch. Gyarados and the dragons? Goodbye.

Misdreavus

Ability: Levitate

Nature: Calm

EV Spread: 252 HP / 4 Def / 228 SpAtt / 4 SpDef / 20 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Calm Mind

- Thunderbolt

- Hidden Power Ice

- Taunt

Explanation: A standard common set that provides a pretty dangerous option against stall teams. Misdreavus has decent bulk to tank most special attacks after a +1 Calm Mind and can begin striking back with great coverage in Tbolt and HP Ice. Agatha, I have the faith you know how to shake your opponents confidence with this. Taunt is also a great option to prevent spikes to come up, thus protecting your next poke…

Shedinja

Ability: Wonder Guard

Nature: Adamant

EV Spread: 252 Attack / 252 Spe

Held Item: Lum Berry

- Swords Dance

- Return

- Aerial Ace

- Protect

Explanation: Shedinja is going to be your secret weapon. With a team full of Levitate users and Ghosts, Spikes should be a pretty are option. Toxic spam isn’t going to be a good option considering you have two powerful poison types on your team to strike fear in others. So, Shedinja with Wonder Guard is looking pretty safe. Protect is there to scout and see what can actually hit you and then the rest is history. Wreck’em Agatha like I know you do.
Final Thoughts: Agatha, no lie, you’re one of the best the Elite 4 has to offer. Leading with Lorelei’s crippling team and putting on the pressure with your offensive team, any challenger will be absolutely sweating after seeing what you have to offer. Get’em Woman!

Bruno

Background: Oh I remember chatting with Bruno just like it was yesterday, or earlier today, ok it was today, but here is how it went…

“*High Five... Ok you’re not big on high fives I get that, but one thing I got to say is… you see these girls getting crushed by Houndoom? Ya, one poke literally just beat the crap out of them. Then this challenger was disrespectful enough to use Max Revives and Full Restores right in front of you with a fucking smirk on his face. I need you to put the absolute beat-down on him. All that gym-time is finally going to pay off for you Bruno. So let’s do this. I also have a new idea for you here. You like bulking? Well here is the perfect team for you.
Azumarill

Ability: Huge Power

Nature: Adamant

EV Spread: 212 HP / 252 Attack / 44 Spe

Held Item: Choice Band

- Waterfall

- Return

- Ice Punch

- Superpower

Explanation: Bruno, I heard you like them big bad bruisers, well let me show you that Azumarill laughs at Machamp in the gym. Like seriously, this thing’s ability is Huge Power. It doesn’t get OHKO’d by damn near anything which means it serving as your opening lead can really punish something that wants to stay in and tank a hit. Fire away Azu, fire away.

Ludicolo

Ability: Rain Dish

Nature: Calm

EV Spread: 252 HP / 244 SpDef / 12 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Protect

- Toxic

- Leech Seed

- Giga Drain

Explanation: Support. Yes, I know you don’t believe in pokemon that don’t attack, but listen here, Ludicolo is like that spotter in the gym. He’s going to help lift you up when you’re feeling down. Ok you get me? Good. Rain Dish is like a shot of Pre-Workout to keep you going strong, while Toxic/Protect stall is that intimidation factor in the gym ‘cuz your lift is so strong. Giga Drain helps to put on even more pressure when the Toxic + Leech is in full swing.

Kingdra

Ability: Swift Swim

Nature: Adamant

EV Spread: 252 HP / 116 Attack / 140 Spe

Held Item: Chesto Berry

- Dragon Dance

- Waterfall

- Return

- Rest

Explanation: Perfect attacking coverage. Ya, this is an offensive powerhouse that not only can tank all of those hits that threaten the rest of your team, but it also strikes back with outrageous power. A speed to beat those Starmies after a +1 DD and the bulk to set-up on most soft-hitting threats, Kingdra sounds like the perfect squat partner when you’re trying to go the distance.

Gyarados

Ability: Intimidate

Nature: Jolly

EV Spread: 252 Attack / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe

Held Item: Lum Berry

- Dragon Dance

- Waterfall

- Crunch

- Earthquake

Explanation: Absolute beastly power. Yup, a physical sweeper like none other. You say it’s extremely weak to electric-type attacks, but I say one DD and it’s going to hurt something really really bad. Crunch can clear a lot of threats including that possible Mewtwo, Waterfall can hit so hard your opponent will flinch in terror, and Earthquake is well… scary.

Kyogre

Ability: Drizzle

Nature: Timid

EV Spread: 252 SpAtt / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Calm Mind

- Surf

- Thunder

- Ice Beam

Explanation: Yup a legendary. No you don’t have to thank me, this is just absolutely essential to your team. Drizzle provides Rain Support to your entire team, meaning all of their STAB Water attacks just got a major boost. It also means that you can spam Thunder without the risk of missing. The speed investment also forces those base-100s to run a +Speed nature just to try and beat you, dragons beware. Go out, set it up, and wreck everything.

Swampert

Ability: Torrent

Nature: Sassy

EV Spread: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 SpDef

Held Item: Leftovers

- Curse

- Earthquake

- Ice Punch

- Rest

Explanation: Your opponent is about to hate you. They decided to run a team full of ubers and forgot to throw on one grass-type after seeing how pitiful that idea would have been against Lorelei and Agatha. Ya, you just dropped this bomb on them. Swampert is like that massive dude on the gym everyone talks shit about but would never step up to. Ya, he even uses Steroids in the move known as Curse, but hey, he’s got the gains. Ice Punch slaughters Dragons that can evade Earthquake, but everything else is going to take a huge hit by that STAB EQ.
Final Thoughts: Bruno, you’re a monster, but with your old team you were just a stepping stone. Time to man up and be that wall that everyone knows you can be. Stop these threats before they get to you mate.

Lance

Background: I chatted with Lance after reaching out to the other trainers, and here’s what I told him, “You’re the last member of the Elite 4. Ya, the other three seem pretty strong, but let’s be real, any good player can break through Mono-type teams with good teambuilding, and after any of these wins they can simply use their money and heal up with all those stocked items in their annoying backpacks. Ya no pride at all. So we’ve been slowly providing more and more offense with each step of the Elite 4, so here is the pinnacle of that.
Latios

Ability: Levitate

Nature: Timid

EV Spread: 252 SpAtt / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Held Item: Soul Dew

- Calm Mind

- Psychic

- Shadow Ball

- Hidden Power Grass

Explanation: So using your classic dragon team you realize you’re still at risk of being swept by one move, Ice Beam. So you need to start off with some serious striking power to remove those Ice users that were damn near worthless against Lorelei, Agatha, and Bruno. Latios does that perfectly by utilizing its immense Special Attack stat. Psychic is its primary stab that hits everything ruthlessly, while Shadow Ball and HP Grass provide the coverage to hit Ice Beam users extremely hard. Swampert dead. Mewtwo, in pain. You’re going to cripple something before being forced to switch out. High octane offense baby.

Salamence

Ability: Intimidate

Nature: Impish

EV Spread: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Wish

- Protect

- Toxic

- Dragon Claw

Explanation: You need sustainability for your offensive team and Wish can provide that. Salamence can also utilize Protect to scout your opponent’s move-set and to stall with Toxic. Intimidate proves to slow down a lot of physical threats and Dragon Claw strikes any opposing dragons that think they can get a OHKO on you and the rest of your team. Surprise, surprise, I’m bulky and you’re -1. Use this for mid-game support.

Dragonite

Ability: Inner Focus

Nature: Adamant

EV Spread: 164 HP / 252 Attack / 92 Spe

Held Item: Choice Band

- Dragon Claw

- Fire Punch

- Superpower

- Extremespeed

Explanation: Can we say “clean-up crew”? Dragonite is going to prove to be your top tier revenge-killer. Using its ridiculously high attack stat and access to Extremespeed and Superpower, many weakened threats don’t stand a chance. STAB Dragon Claw is there for common spam when your opponent is guaranteed to switch and Fire Punch is that option to hit any steel-types that think they can wall you.

Kingdra

Ability: Swift Swim

Nature: Modest

EV Spread: 204 HP / 252 SpAtt / 52 Spe

Held Item: Leftovers

- Surf

- Ice Beam

- Hidden Power Grass

- Rain Dance

Explanation: Rain teams might just be the one thing that scares the living daylight out of you, so let’s find something that can work to slow them down. Your Kingdra is going to prove to sit in the way of rain teams by stealing that rain and striking back with some pretty powerful attacks. Rain Dance of your own to maybe clean up a weakened team. While you can’t really touch the Ludicolo’s of the game, you are still quite capable of dealing some damage and stalling the rain until you get bring in something to beat it to hell.

Flygon

Ability: Levitate

Nature: Naive

EV Spread: 252 Attack / 100 SpAtt / 156 Spe

Held Item: Lum Berry

- Dragon Claw

- Earthquake

- Fire Blast

- Protect

Explanation: A mixed wall breaker that proves to your opponent that Tyranitar isn’t going to be the answer they are looking for. Watch out for Ice Beam with Protect and swing away with appropriate predictions.

Rayquaza

Ability: Air Lock

Nature: Jolly

EV Spread: 252 Attack / 252 Spe

Held Item: Lum Berry

- Dragon Dance

- Dragon Claw

- Earthquake

- Extremespeed

Explanation: The perfect late-game sweeper. Rayquaze is an absolutely insane option that after +1 can rip through your opponents teams with a base 150 Attack stat and coverage moves galore to couple with that powerful STAB Dragon Claw. Extremespeed is there to hit those low-health pokes that think they can come in, outspeed you before you DD, and get a quick kill on something as strong as Rayquaza. Air Lock also acts to revenge kill any pokes that have set-up Rain and want to sweep through your team.
Final Thoughts: Lance, you’re my last option and I feel this hyper-offensive team will break through anything that felt comfortable working through Lorelei, Agatha, and Bruno. You’re a beast mate and I think you’ll do just fine here. And if not, well… they still have to go through me.

DoubleJ (Champion)

Explanation: JK, I’m not going to show you my super-secret Ubers team.
Ok yes I will.

1.    Mewtwo (Lead)

2.    Kyogre

3.    Latias

4.    Groudon

5.    Deoxys-Defense

6.    Rayquaza (Clean-Up)
I can’t tell you my movesets cuz well, what if this information was leaked to the public? Ya, that would be bad. Like really bad. Like my reign as Champion could be over because of those disgusting scouters. So guys, for real, don’t be like that. And remember that if you do... I beat you all with a Lvl 70 Charizard.

EDIT: You might note implementation problems with my entry, but if upper-GMs and Devs have access to Legendaries, then we know they are implemented in game.

Are non-player accessible legendaries actually legitimately allowed in this?

no

See Below:

I would prefer only implemented Pokemon be used for this.

I mean, I may not be in the running to win because Noad's "preference" might extend to only Pokemon implemented to all players, but I can at least say that I gave the Elite 4 the best possible chance of kicking a challenger's booty, that had endless cash, with pokemon that are implemented in PokeMMO to at least the Devs.

I really view this type of event as a little bit of fun, a chance for people to get creative and see other people's ideas. I will also purposely always keep the prizes for things like this small as I don't want to to become about the prize (even though I know it's nice to win). I'm really not in the business of disqualifying people from these types of events, if someone takes the time and effort to enter then I have respect for them to read over and consider their entry.

Ayeeeee thanks! Was really fun to do!

be prepared to read some true greatness

Lorelei (Mono Water)
For Lorelei, I wanted to remain somewhat faithful to her original pokemon, except I decided to take advantage of the variety that water gives. I noticed that ubers gives the opportunity for baton pass to be allowed, and I intended to take advantage of that, and eventually made it the theme of all the elite four member's teams.

Ludicolo @ Leftovers
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

Clamperl @ DeepSeaTooth
Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
- Rest
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Ice Beam

Ludicolo gives the team some defense and can be used to get double switches so gorebyss and vaporeon can operate to the fullest. Vaporeon and Gorebyss are the best two water baton passers as they have a nice amount of boosting options and vaporeon has substitutes that can take a seismic toss. Although we don't have shell smash for gorebyss, it still has nice boosting with agility and amnesia, great when paired with vaporeon's acid armor. Golduck and clamperl were the two receivers I had in mind for the water type team. Golduck, which might seem like an odd choice over slowbro or slowking, since the movesets are pretty similar, but lacks the bug weakness which I was fearful of, as cb heracross is quite threatening to a slowbro, even with an acid armor on its side. Golduck also has a useful ability with damp, meaning pokemon like snorlax/metagross can't explode on it to take it out. Clamperl might not be known to the world, but has an unbelievably high special attack with deepseatooth, which doubles its special attack, similar to marowak's thick club. This makes clamperl hit extremely hard, even without a special attack boost. Shell armor is quite useful as it does not have to worry about critical hits as it rests away damage. Gyarados is the clean up sweeper, as if it gets a clean switch and sets up a substitute, its pretty much game over with flail/waterfall coverage. Ev Spreads are fairly straightforward, the baton passers have enough speed to outspeed jolteon/aerodactyl after one agility, and rest is put into bulk. Ludicolo is a mixed wall for special attackers and physical attackers. Golduck ev spread is mostly for taking special attacks, in case someone crits, and its not the end of the world. Clamperl needs all the special attack it can get as it can't boost its special attack any further. Gyarados has enough speed for adamant heracross, max the attack, and dump the rest in hp. If you can make it past Lorelei, you are a formidable opponent.
Bruno (Monotype Bug)
So as I stated before, I wanted to have a baton pass themed elite four, and I noticed the bug type has a lot of baton pass users to take advantage of. Although Bruno is normally ground or fighting or something, I imagine he enjoys bugs as a hobby when hes not pwning noobs in the E4.

Ninjask @ Leftovers
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Protect
- Swords Dance

Scizor @ Leftovers
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 HP / 124 SpD / 132 Spe
Careful Nature
- Baton Pass
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
- Iron Defense

Gunthug (Ariados) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Insomnia
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Baton Pass
- Spider Web
- Megahorn
- Agility

Heracross @ Leftovers
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Low Kick
- Megahorn
- Rock Slide
- Substitute

Armaldo @ Leftovers
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Substitute

LeTyrone (Metapod) @ Leftovers
Ability: Shed Skin
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Tackle
- Iron Defense
- String Shot
- Harden

Ninjask lead is obvious as it can't switch in too well and can pretty much set up substitutes to boost its speed vs any pokemon. Leftovers gives it some longevity along with protect. The idea is to get 1-3 speed boosts to boost to the next baton passer, scizor. Scizor is in charge of boosting attack and defense. Alternatively, the ninjask can baton pass to Gunthug, the ariados, who can in turn spider web and trap the opponent and lead to some easy boosts after you baton pass to scizor (assuming this mechanic works). Heracross and Armaldo are the receivers of the boosts. They are both capable of sweeping once they have received a few speed boosts from ninjask, and 1 or 2 swords dances. If you are feeling dangerous, instead of baton passing those boosts to heracross or armaldo, you can baton pass to the metagod himself (no not you senile), metapod. Metapod will sit there and win you the game by taking hits for days at +6 defense and firing off those powerful tackles, leaving your opponents trembling in fear. Shed skin allows metapod to not have to worry about status as it will get healed every few turns. Again, ev spreads are fairly straightforward, most of them aim to outspeed the relevant meta at +2 speed, hit as hard as possible, and put the rest into bulk.
Agatha (Monotype Psychic)
The other common baton pass type is psychic, which seemed like the obvious choice for Agatha, as she seems like she would be into that kind of thing.

Exeggutor @ Lum Berry
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Explosion
- Sleep Powder

Mr. Mime @ Leftovers
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Baton Pass
- Calm Mind
- Barrier

Espeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Calm Mind
- Psychic

Girafarig @ Salac Berry
Ability: Early Bird
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Baton Pass
- Agility
- Mean Look
- Endure

Alakazam @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Encore

Solrock @ Lum Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Baton Pass
- Cosmic Power
- Substitute
- Morning Sun

Seems like all the hip kids nowadays have a suicide lead to set up their baton pass chain. Exeggutor fits the role perfectly with access to both screens and explosion to get the first baton passer a clean switch. To my surprise, girafarig was able to learn mean look (I guess I can imagine a giraffe giving kids mean looks at a zoo), so I wanted to take advantage of some unfair trapping with the combination of baton pass and mean look. Agility is to boost the speed for the other passers, but just in case girafarig is not able to set up an agility, it can resort to endure and salac to boost its speed so the chain does not die. Girafarig will most likely baton pass to Mr. Mime to set up barriers, and possibly some calm minds. Once Mr. Mime is too low on hp, it will try to baton pass out a substitute to espeon to finish off the calm mind boosts. The sweeper is an encore alakazam with substitute. Psychic and hidden power ground covers most pokemon, as steel types can't take a +6 psychic from modest alakazam. Encore is there for pokemon that try to status alakazam as it substitutes. Solrock is mostly there as an emergency set up, in case the first chain fails, as it can set up cosmic powers fairly easily with its somewhat unique typing and instant recovery.
Lance (Monotype normal)
I was a bit conflicted on what the last E4 member's type should be, since the options were narrowing down after using bug, psychic, and water. Then I remembered normal type and the god tier smeargle to use.

Stantler @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Return

Smeargle @ Salac Berry
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Kangaskhan (F) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Early Bird
EVs: 68 HP / 252 Atk / 188 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fire Punch
- Return
- Crunch
- Substitute

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Ability: Immunity
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Body Slam
- Fire Punch
- Counter
- Rest

Girafarig @ Lum Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass
- Psychic
- Substitute

Porygon2 @ Lum Berry
Ability: Trace
EVs: 92 HP / 252 SpA / 164 Spe
Modest Nature
- Agility
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Tri Attack

This team has two different boosting strategies, one of which is to baton pass a belly drum with smeargle to kangaskhan, which should be able to sweep in most circumstances, thanks to some great coverage with fire punch and stab return. The team first starts off with stantler though, since it has access to intimidate, dual screens, and thunder wave to slow down pokemon for smeargle to set up substitutes on them. Smeargle will either spore the pokemon or just belly drum if they are not threatening enough to smeargle sitting behind dual screens. Smeargle will substitute down to 25% to activate salac and then baton pass to kangaskhan to destroy everything. If kangaskhan doesn't sweep somehow at +6 attack and +1 speed, the back up plan is a combination of girafarig and porygon2. Girafarig will set up as many calm minds as possible and then send its boosts off to porygon2 which will then agility and have another chance at sweeping. Porygon2 has great coverage, with its moves only resisted by shedinja and magneton. Snorlax is on this team mostly as a back up for specific threats. Dragonite is a threat to this team since superpower destroys everything, except snorlax who is able to take a choice banded superpower and ohko dragonite in return with a counter. Snorlax can also take other strong physical attacks which may threaten other pokemon on this team. Most of the evs are fairly simple. Stantler is to take special attacks on leads since it has intimidate to weaken the physical attacks it takes. Smeargle needs max speed to pull off the sub drum set, and 252 hp allows it to take some hits, especially behind screens. Kangaskhan has enough speed to outspeed the tier at +1, bar electrode and ninjask. Max attack and dump the rest into hp. Snorlax needed max hp and defense to take a choice band superpower from dragonite, which is quite useful, and is only 3hko'ed by choice band dragonite dragon claw. Girafarig has a mix of speed and bulk with a calm nature. Porygon2 has enough speed to outspeed base 130s (jolteon/aero) after an agility, maximize special attack, and the rest into bulk.
If someone beats all four of these teams, they are obviously a l337 h4x0r and need to be banned. I actually had a fun time building these teams since baton pass is banned in our current meta (I'm assuming its normally allowed in ubers).
