aeeaeeaaa
What's the most common nature + EV spread for spinner Starmie ? I'm really confused, I keep encountering them and they're surprisingly tanky + they're still faster than most of my poke Tell me the secret so I can beat them please Link to comment

Yup either this or, Timid 252 HP/Speed. Also saw some Timid ones with enough speeds EVS to hit 151, 252 HP evs and rest in sp attack 41 minutes ago, aeeaeeaaa said: Tell me the secret so I can beat them please CB Pursuit Snorlax usually has no problem removing Starmie from play (unless they're specifically built to deal with those) Link to comment

aeeaeeaaa
Damn that's much more defensive than I thought Yeah those Starmies were really bulky AND outspeeded my +speed nature Blaziken so it must be something like this I might want to get a new Starmie too.. my current one's a pursuit magnet BlackJovi 1 Link to comment

Maelstrom
Is Ninetales viable in OU? If not, why? Link to comment

Special sets of all three are really unviable because of how hard Snorlax and Chansey walls them (and Kingdra to lesser extent). Maelstrom 1 Link to comment

If you wanna run one for fun I recommend a Sub Pain Split user to take advantage of the huge HP stat of Snorlax and Chansey and drain them a lot of HP with Pain Split. Maelstrom 1 Link to comment

aeeaeeaaa
Sorry for asking so many question but what is, in your opinion, the better nature between modest and timid for Haunter ? Are there any significant pokemons it would outspeed with +speed nature ? Also, is the 252 atk & speed Rhydon from Gbush's guide still relevant ? Link to comment
aeeaeeaaa
If I taunt an enemy, it is forced to use offensive move for 2-4 turns, but is the first turn of taunt included in that count? example: (turn 1) Gyara uses taunt -> Skarmory can't use spikes (turn 2) This turn Skarmory is also forced to attack (turn 3) If we assume taunt lasted 2 turns, is Skarmory still taunted or not ? EDIT: Sorry apparently taunt lasts 3 turns 100% of the time here But I'd still like to know: do I have to count the initial turn in those 3 turns? Edited October 10, 2016 by aeeaeeaaa Link to comment

If you taunt a skarm when it's going to spike, it will not spike since the taunt is already in action (asuming ur faster than the pokemon ur taunting) Link to comment
Maelstrom
belly zard or special zard? Link to comment
Tranzmaster
Bellyzard all the way. Positive: 1 - It has more sweeping capabilities 2 - It tilts the opponent 3 - It's satisfying to 6-0 Negative: 1 - Permatilt when opponent has priority move Special zard gets walled/outsped by too many pokes and there are better special sweepers with similar coverage. It's fairly good tho if the opponent thinks you have bellyzard, switches to swampert, sunny day on the switch and then top kek solarbeam Edited October 14, 2016 by Tranzmaster Maelstrom 1 Link to comment
