anyone know how to switch from hoenn back to kanto?

You need to play through the Hoenn storyline until you reach Slateport city, and take the ferry back to the Kanto region.

To get back to the other region you will need to play through the story for a little bit. If you switched from Kanto to Hoenn you will need to play through the story until you get to Slateport City where you will be able to get a boat back. If you switched from Hoenn to Kanto you will need to play through the story until you get to Vermilion City where you will be able to get a boat back. Your Pokemon are not lost, they have transferred to your PC box and will be accessible to you at the nearest Pokemon Centre and your progress in the other region is safe.
